    Welcome to Twin Coho in Rockaway Beach! This gorgeous two-story vacation rental offers four bedrooms and two baths, with space for up to ten guests! Step inside your home away from home and get comfortable! This quaint rental features beautiful bay windows and a deck where you can watch the sunset during the summer or enjoy storm-watching during the winter months! You'll have direct beach access to the grass and sand right from the deck!

    The spacious living room offers plenty of space to relax, enjoy a family movie night, or just hang out during the day. The kitchen, located just off the living room, comes fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a homemade meal or serve takeout for your family! There's a dining room table, an island with chairs for extra seating, or feel free to relax on the couch while enjoying your meal.

    Each bedroom in Twin Coho offers plenty of natural light, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Each room comes with its own TV, allowing you to unwind before falling asleep. The sleeping arrangements include one king bed, two queen beds, and two twin beds, accommodating all guests comfortably. The bathrooms feature a jacuzzi bath, a shower, and a shower/tub combo. For convenience, a washer and dryer are included, making it easy to pack light and do laundry as needed during your stay.

Perfect for a relaxing weekend

This wonderful home sits right on the beach in Rockaway and you can watch the surf from the living room or from the big, beautiful deck. The house is older and shows a bit of wear but is clean and comfortable.

Great view for spring storms

We stayed here in March, and pretty much stayed inside the whole time (as planned) The primary living area has a 180 degree view of the beach and the ocean is very close. We ate food, played games, and visited for the weekend. There are lots of typical beach town shops, bakeries, restaurants, and things near by, but the weather was nasty so we just stayed in. I can see how this would be a great location in the summer as well.

Beautiful getaway!

Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful large deck, property right on the beach :). Loved the view from the living room as well as the master bedroom. Nice to spend a few days on the beach with my hubby and pups. We will be back !

Wrong door code, dead batteries in 3 remotes w/no extra batteries, broken fan/light switch, no kitchen towels, no foil or cooking oil, no TV instructions, rusted cookware, claw marks on bathroom door from a prior guest. Beach access is VERY difficult.

Good times and rainy weather

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with rental it was a nice place. We the quiet and watching the ocean waves from the deck. We would have liked the restaurants that say they are open be open not closed.

Excellent On The Ocean Home Best View

Excellent View of Rockaway Beach! Best thing about this home. We were given the wrong access code so had to contact the property manager, finally got the correct code to enter the home. Beautiful view from inside the LR and MB. This would be a great home for family with older kids. You do have to walk down rocks to get to beach and only access to home is up stairs as entire home is above the garage. But a great property for RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

Book this for view and location

This location and its views are the greatest reasons for our stay. This is a no thrills home with original everything but fully stocked kitchen and the bedrooms had plenty of space and accommodations, I would have loved for there to be some outdoor furniture so we could eat meals on the deck and enjoy that morning cup of coffee taking in the gorgeous views and sounds of the ocean. For this reason, I gave it only 4 stars. I would absolutely book again as it suited my family of 4 and two grandparents wonderfully.

Thank you for a wonderful week at the Twin Coho! It’s a beautiful, spacious house with an amazing view. We loved it. We do have one suggestion for improving your guests’ overall experience: please provide some instructions and clear expectations for use of the house’s televisions. (The existing instructions found in that white info binder are out of date and irrelevant to the current setup).I realize that general procedures for using TVs in rental homes is probably common knowledge among young people, but several of the folks in our group are older people who have little to no understanding of how streaming services work, let alone streaming services in someone else’s house.In addition to providing clear, printed documentation about available television services, I also recommend placing the televisions in some type of “guest mode” while renters are occupying the house. Doing so would prevent the homeowner’s account from being charged for a guest’s purchases, unintended or otherwise. I am the youngest of my group, and yet even my knowledge of how streaming works is fairly limited, so such confusion seems likely to recur. That said, I’m sure that clearer instructions posted at the house – along with security measures restricting access - will help prevent future mishaps. Thank you again and best regards!

Perfect family beach house

This is a perfect home for a quiet beach getaway! OCEAN FRONT views are AMAZING from both inside and out! The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was dog friendly and loved the railing around the deck so we could let him outside to enjoy the sunshine without being tied up. Beach access was just a few steps away to the quiet and beautiful stretch of sand that wasn't overcrowded (for this time of year anyway)! We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful walks and playing ball with our dog Stanley. The property management was very nice to work with and communicated well. The only thing missing was outdoor deck furniture so just be sure to throw in some lawn chairs, which thankfully we did. We will defintely stay here again!!

OK Beach House

Needs attention.. no beach chairs, no deck chairs or table, blinds are a mess and didn't work the best. The air vents are terrible and need cleaned, NO AC so it was hot hot hot no fans in the closets, the BBQ is garbage not good to use. When you pay a high price per night you should have the listed amenities available. Overall close to beach but lacked the luster in everything else.

Great location, make sure you grasp the bathroom situation.

This house was clean and in a beautiful location! It is “affordable”, so don’t expect fancy and you’ll be ok. There there are still some seriously worn things about the house the owner could improve with a $100 dollar investment- shower head in the tub is crazy, duvet covers from the 80s, only can opener is electric, very limited utensils, and there is not enough table seating for the number of people it sleeps. One of the two bathrooms is a full-on part of the bedroom with no door at all between tub/sink/shower/bed/exterior door/interior UNLOCKABLE door. So, if you like pooping and showering with the constant threat of intrusion- or even with your family in the room, look no further! The upside is the huge bathtub has a nice view that you can maybe kind of see from the the tub. The location is spectacular, however, and despite the oddities, we’d stay here again!

Beachfront house

The location was spectacular, steps from the sand. There is a great deck, but no furniture on it. There are folding card table chairs you can drag out and sit on, but no table or lawn chairs. Great fire pit, but the 'grass' had some type of stickers/ weeds that really hurt if you walked barefoot . One of the dining set chairs was broken and frankly dangerous. The chairs are on rollers, and swivel and rock, very comfy. but one was broken and if you leaned back it would topple you over backwards. We pushed it up against a wall. There are 2 outdoor faucets to rinse off sand, but neither worked. The parking was generous, easy to park 3 large SUVs, could have squeezed more in. But, again the location and how close you are to the beach are fabulous.

Very Disappointing

Great location and view of the ocean. That is the best in this review. I was very disappointed with the following. 1. Stained carpet everywhere, animal or human??? 2. Orange bacteria growing on the master bathroom shower curtain. 3. Blinds in the living room and master do not louver open or close. The LR blinds at the sliding door drag along the carpet to access the sliding door. The master blinds could not even be pulled open. Kind of freaky when those doors and windows are on the deck side with access from the ground. Not to have them working properly was very concerning. 4. Pans needed to be washed before using. 5. The deck gate has been jerry-rigged to swing open, very difficult to latch properly. 6. The picnic table on the deck has a broken table top beam. 7. The white plastic chairs under the deck, one of them has a cracked back. 8. The recliners are a joke. One was broken so that it leans to the side. The other one feels reclined when you just sit in it. Try to apply the reclining mechanism was 'good luck.' Had to leave it open/in reclined position to even have the reclining option. 9. I found that I will never have a 'memory foam' mattress. The master and 1 guest room have them. The other guest and twin beds were regular mattresses. 10. Good luck to an electric plug-in in the living room. They are on the floor behind the furniture. Found 2, they are both single socket outlets. There is beach access next to the property. No railings. There are large rocks spaced for steps. Do-able but not for everyone. Public access. We have had an annual family vacation with home rentals for +20 years and this was the worst, especially for the cost. With the total price of this rental, it was over $500/night. If there is going to be a cleaning fee, then it needs to be used. We have been home from this vacation for almost 2 weeks and I have been delaying my review so that I wouldn't vent--doesn't appear that I have had better thoughts. We are easy going people and can adapt to lower expectations; however, this was too much. I have never had to write a review with these type of conditions that are not expected for the price or any price. The positives were the toilets flushed, there was water, and the heat was functional. (these can be found at a local fast food location, without costing anything) I am sure this home was beautiful when built, but it needs to be attended to. I have pictures and video to confirm these complaints.

Read the reviews! Would not recommend for a large group and too quirky

We originally had this booked for a group of 6 until half had to drop out. We're glad they did not come, because the odd layout of this house basically forces the group to use one small bathroom for most "bathroom business", as there is no privacy door, wall, or even curtain for the master bathroom toilet. Some of the other reviews also mention things that we can confirm: - Beach access requires scaling large rocks that may be difficult for some; - while very clean, there were lots of ants in the kitchen; - living room TV gave up halfway through our stay; - internet info was incorrect in check-in documents and we could not resolve after hours; - none of the outside faucets are enabled so you have to wash off sand inside in the tub, - it's generally extremely dated and has lots of quirks. If you can accept all this, it is right on the beach and the deck is terrific. Buyer beware, read the reviews before booking. If the Dream of the 90s is Alive in Portland, the Dream of the 80s is Alive at Rockaway Beach in this unit.

Location is awesome, house not so much

This house needs a serious update , right out of the seventies, The mattresses are old and uncomfortable one bathroom is basically unusable because it’s right in the master bedroom with no door for privacy. We had to buy disposable silverware so that we could rewash it because there was literally three spoons and four forks in the damn drawer for the summer price that we paid it was ridiculous not to have a big enough pot to make a pot of clam chowder for 10. The trash was full when we got there and the yard was probably 18 inches tall we did call and ask for the yard to be mowed as we were staying all week and for the trash to be picked up no one came to mow the yard and we had one guy come by and take two kitchen size bags of trash out of the receptacle. . Not our best stay!
