The staff was so welcoming and helped us with any need. We had nice breakfasts each day, thank you Judith for being so sweet! My husband and I have only been snorkelers but we put our trust in the diving staff and became PADI certified for open water! Thank you Ricardo, he came in to train us on short notice and helped adapt to our needs. He made us comfortable and helped us learn the skills needed. The location was ideal being quiet (away from the cruise ship crowds) but a 5 minute walk to town and good restaurants. The snorkeling was great from right in front of the resort although not for beginners or the faint of heart as it was rough getting in and out and there was a lot of boat traffic. Make sure you borrow a visibility float from the dive shop before going in. The pool deck was beautiful and had enough seating. The other common areas were comfortable and quiet and the room was good for the price. Not fancy but clean and well maintained (I subsequently learned this is not a given in Roatan) The AC was well maintained and worked well to keep the humidity down in our room. The Wi-Fi was spotty but they said they are looking for a new system. One caution. We asked the front desk to arrange a couple of rides for us to a garden and a church.
