Casa d’Avó is a family home nestled in the village of Beirós, high in the municipality of Resende, on the slopes of the Serra de Montemuro, at around 815 meters above sea level. Surrounded by nature and breathtaking views across the valleys, it is the perfect place for those looking for peace, authenticity and time to simply slow down and enjoy the moment.
Part of the charm of this place lies in the balance between the peacefulness of the countryside and the proximity of the Douro. Just 15 minutes away by car, the Douro River invites you to discover its beautiful landscapes, explore the surrounding region and savour the wines and cuisine that are such an important part of its identity. Nearby, you will also find several walking trails and rural paths, perfect for those who enjoy exploring nature on foot.
Spacious and welcoming, the house has been carefully preserved to retain the genuine atmosphere of a traditional family home. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests.
Outside, you will find one of the most special parts of the house: a large garden with a lawn and a lovely outdoor sitting area, the perfect setting for a leisurely breakfast, reading a book or simply taking in the views and listening to the peaceful silence of the mountains.
