Sit on the balcony in summer or indoors in winter around the cosy fire. Watch the mist in the valleys in the morning while perched high above the trees on the escarpment while sipping an expresso coffee or a glass of your favourite wine. Try the 6-person hydro spa in the garden and enjoy the stars and valley views and listen to the birdsong

The Space:
Unspoilt vista views from the covered veranda make this ideal for a stress-free getaway, romantic weekend, family stays, Comy bedrooms, warm inviting lounge in winter, dining while admiring the unspoilt views.

A walk to the Ravensbourne National Park or a short drive to beautiful Lake Cressbrook and the waterfall at Crows Nest. Or simply lunch or dinner at Myrtille Bistro at Crows Nest 20 minutes away. This is our latest micro-region eatery specilaising in locally sourced and organic foods served gourmet-style.

Guest Access:
Your chalet is located in the gated area of Hillside Estate overlooking the Brisbane valley and National Parks. Your gate code will get you in any time.
Ravensbourne Escape boasts 46 Acres of residential grounds with great views so feel free to walk around, use the free public tennis courts nearby or simply enjoy the location and its ambience. Make the place your own.

The Neighborhood:
You are situated on the cool green Great Dividing Range escarpment at 2400 feet above sea level. With amazing views of the Brisbane Valley below and as far south as New South Wales.
Or simply stay in and enjoy the log fire in winter on misty days or a bbq on the veranda in Summer
Unspoilt, tranquil and relaxing. Only a short drive to cafes, Pubs and bistros for breakfast lunch or dinner.
We are a 10 minute drive from pretty Lake Cressbrook and Hampton Visitors Centre. Within 20 minutes Discover Crows Nest with its cafes and quaint country vibe , great coffee, a 5 star eatery - Myrtille, and local art & crafts, supermarket, local pub and Village square .
Why not try out the Pechey Gin Distillery for local spirits and great characters, or discover the Crows Nest National Park and waterfall.

No pets or loud parties please, and please
- take you rubbish when you leave to the bin in the Cafe car park
- make sure lights and aircon are turned off
- dishes washed and put away.

Mountain top experience

What a joy it was to walk through the front door of this tranquil space and see the breathtaking view of mountains extending to the horizon...the view is absolutely spectacular! The house is also amazing...so elegant and scrupulously clean, we felt really pampered! I recommend this holiday space whole heartedly. My husband commented that his soul expanded while there...serene, quiet and luxurious. We have the added complication of a wheelchair, which the space accommodated brilliantly. Thank you for all the consideration taken in making this a truly restorative stay.

Stunning view, beautiful cottage

Enjoyed our getaway and cottage has a view from every window. Lovely sitting on the patio watching the sun go down while listening to the birds.

Girls 50th birthday

Second time I have stayed and wanted to take my friends for one of their birthdays. As usual it did not disappoint. The view is amazing and we had the best weekend. It was nice and cool so we got to use the gas fireplace. Beds are so comfy and beautiful linen. We all slept extremely well and felt well rested. We will be back.

Great house for 6 people.

House had great heating with air con in all rooms including bathroom. Also nice gas fire for the really cold nights. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Ravensborough. Fair drive into Toowoomba but fantastic views. Very clean with nice barbie. One small criticism. Needs better signage on the road to find when returning at night. Entrance easily missed.
