The house is modernly furnished and offers an air-conditioned living room with kitchenette, dining area and sofa bed (120 x 200 cm) for one person. Furthermore, there are two bedrooms with double bed and a bathroom with shower. You will find a cozy covered terrace outside with barbecue fireplace and a sheltered dining area. Den Gastgeber haben wir ins Herz geschlossen, da er so unkompliziert und sehr aufmerksam ist. Der Ausblick ist der wahre Traum, ruhe pur und genießen, ist hier die Devise. Bis zum Strand sind es ca 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Man kann auch zu Fuß zu einem anderen Strand gehen, der war aber sehr felsig. Ein großer minus am Haus sind die ganzen Insekten. Man kann sich wegen Mücken kaum draußen aufhalten. Im Schlafzimmer unten gab es im Bett Ameisen sowie Tausendfüßler. Einmal haben wir neben dem Bett einen Skorpion entdeckt. Der Meerblick und die Ruhe sind toll und suchen ihresgleichen. Nur Abends wurde die Ruhe durch die Musik aus Rabac etwas gestört, die trotz mehrerer Kilometer Entfernung deutlich zu hören war. Das Haus ist ziemlich abgelegen (Auto ist ein Muss) und bietet eigentlich alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht, auch die Betten und Kopfkissen sind sehr bequem. Die Küchenausstattung war überraschend gut, Geschirr und Besteck reichen bei 4 Personen und 2 Mahlzeiten pro Tag immerhin für einen Tag, so dass man nicht ständig zwischendurch von Hand spülen muss, sondern einmal täglich die Spülmaschine nutzen kann. Dank der Klimaanlage ließ sich der Wohnraum in der Hitze angenehm runterkühlen - in den Schlafräumen kam davon allerdings nicht immer genug an, um bei wirklich angenehmen Temperaturen schlafen zu können. Aber es war bis auf wenige Nächte gut auszuhalten. Der Eigentümer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat sich bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Was ungebetene Haustiere angeht, darf man nicht allzu empfindlich sein. Wir hatten mehrere Skorpione, unzählige Heuschrecken und diverse Ameisen - aber damit dürfte man in der Region wohl überall zu tun haben. Das Haus selber ist ein uriges istrisches Steinhäusschen, das aber alle heutigen "Standards" vollständig erfüllt (inclusive funktionierendem WLAN) und sehr sauber und ausgesprochen ansprechend ausgestattet war. Der Wohnraum ist für 3 Personen und 2 Hunde völlig ausreichend zumal sich das Leben im Frühling/Sommer sowieso mehr oder weniger draussen abspielt. Das Grundstück ist tatsächlich vollständig eingezäunt (ca. 120 cm Weidendrahtzaun), allerdings können sehr kleine Hunde wahrscheinlich durch die Maschen schlupfen bzw. durch die Lücken im Einfahrtstor. Und "Ausbrecherkönige" die buddeln und es darauf anlegen rauszukommen, schaffen das höchstwahrscheinlich auch. Das allerbeste ist aber sicher die Lage, vom Haus hat meine eine ungehinderte Sicht auf die gegenüberliegende Insel Cres und das dazwischenliegende Meer, die Abende auf der Terasse mit Blick aufs Meer waren unbeschreiblich. Zwei grössere Bäume spenden ausreichend Schatten in den Mittagsstunden, die Liegestühle waren sehr bequem und wurden häufig genutzt. Das Häusschen liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Meer weg, ein kleiner Wanderweg führt direkt am Meer bis nach Rabac (ca. 1,5h Wanderung). Der "Strandabschnitt" am Haus ist eine Felsenküste (wie nahezu die gesamt Ostküste Istriens) somit sind Badeschuhe ein Muss, allerdings habe ich auch selten so klares, türkisfarbenes Wasser gesehen. Wir konnten die Unterkunft sogar früher beziehen als vereinbart. Der Vermieter war sehr entgegenkommend. Wir waren mit zwei Hunden dort. Leider ist das Grundstück nicht komplett eingezäunt. Das Bett hätte etwas bequemer sein können, aber das liegt sicherlich an den Rückenbeschwerden meiner Frau Fazit: Wir sicherlich nochmal ins Haus Roinizza fahren. ##### Winfried M.
