The staff generally are very friendly, kind, considerate, and gentle (like most Belizeans, I might add). The hotel itself has clearly seen its glory days, and is now almost decrepit, I won't list and detail every little thing that did not work, was broken, or absent. It would have been a genuinely uncomfortable stay were it not for the relief provided by the staff.
