This is one of 18 listings (15 homes, 13 properties). All our homes are conveniently located in Lee Township, and all offer either lakefront or lake access on Upper or Lower Scott Lake. The Space: Spanning an impressive 4,212 sq. ft., this dual-home retreat offers the best of both worlds—Hawk’s Haven, a stunning 7-bedroom lakefront home, and Lucky Duck Cottage, a charming and recently remodeled 3-bedroom getaway just across the street. Whether you're planning a multi-family gathering, a reunion with friends, or a peaceful retreat, this combination provides ample space, comfort, and entertainment for up to 22 guests. \- Hawk’s Haven boasts breathtaking lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows, a private sandy swimming area with a dock and canoe, and a spacious yard perfect for lawn games and fireside chats. Inside, the great room features a full kitchen with island seating, a 55” HD TV lounge, a breakfast/gaming table, and a large dining table fit for the whole group. The recreation room is packed with entertainment—pool, air hockey, foosball, and an additional 55” TV with cozy leather seating. Step outside to enjoy the lake-facing deck, screened porch with a ceiling fan, and a gas grill for summer cookouts. \- Lucky Duck Cottage offers a cozy, open-concept layout with 3 queen bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a sunlit living space with picture windows overlooking the backyard. Relax with a classic movie on one of the 43” or 55” HD TVs, challenge your group to a board game, or unwind in the outdoor hot tub. The back deck features a fire table, a gas grill, and a patio dining set—perfect for enjoying meals al fresco. Together, these homes create the ultimate vacation experience, offering lakefront relaxation, backyard fun, and plenty of space to make lasting memories. Whether you're soaking in the hot tub, playing a game of pool, or watching the sunset over Upper Scott Lake, this is the perfect spot for your next getaway! Guest Access: Guests will have full access to both of our entire homes with their decks, yards, driveways & parking areas, private swimming area and the 2 private docks with 2 canoes. Our hot tub at Lucky Duck Cottage (one hot tub only) is always available, even in the colder months. \- Use of our canoe is free with each of the 2 homes (2 total canoes). \- We also offer kayak rental, by the day ($25/day) or week; reservation & pre-payment are required; a $100 minimum rental applies. \- Local boat rental options may be available--just ask for details. The public boat launch for Upper Scott Lake is just down the street from our home. Note: Our docks, watercraft, gas grills & outdoor dining furniture are not available Oct 25-Apr 15\. Our Lucky Duck Cottage hot tub is always available, even in the winter. Note: If Hawk's Haven has already been reserved, we reserve the right to substitute one of our identical, neighboring 7-bedroom/4-bathroom homes that lie on either side of Hawk's Haven. These include: Sunset Shores Lake House, Swan Shores, Heron's Landing, and Eagle's Nest. All 5 homes are equal in amenities, and have identical layouts, amenities, and pricing. The Neighborhood: Discover the charm of Upper Scott Lake and beyond, with nearby attractions that offer plenty of year-round activities. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown South Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 25 minutes from Holland. In spring, enjoy the vibrant blooms and greenery. Summer means dune rides in Saugatuck, soaking up all the fun and sun at South Haven & Saugatuck's beautiful beaches, biking trails, and finding fruit galore: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches. Fall allows for scenic walks through the nearby Allegan State Game Area, and picking fresh apples or sipping cider straight from local orchards. And Michigan winters offer skiing, ice skating, and plenty of other snow-filled fun. We’re 10-15 minutes from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms - amazing pies and fruit picking. Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) is located just under 45 miles SE of this home. Gerald R. Ford Int'l. Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, is located about 57 miles NE of this home. Amtrak's Pere Marquette line runs daily between Chicago, IL and Grand Rapids, MI through both Bangor, MI (15 miles south) and Holland, MI (25 miles north). Seamless check in and the management made sure we knew how to contact them, though everything was in place and ready to go when we got there and we did not need to contact them for anything. Kitchen had everything we needed and the table was great for accomodating us all for meals. We were aware the wi fi may be spotty for many devices but we never had any issues, though we did not find ourselves using it much - Our family of 11 cousins (8 months to 9 yrs old) and 10 adults spent much of the time in the water or the lawn, with little interest in TV or internet. The lake was quiet and warm and provided many opportuinites for swimming, paddling, fishing and searching for shells and lilly pads. The front room got a bit hot in the late afternoon ( manybe a shade would help) but the view made up for that - especially as the rest of the house stayed nice and cool. We loved the location of the house - we were able to get to South Haven and Saugatuck easily which provided access to more activities. We even made it up to Grand Rapids to check out the amenties there. We had a wonderful time - highly recommend for enjoying lake life in the summer. Everyone enjoyed themselves. ##### Susan R. Bathrooms with showers, one bathroom with a bathtub, queen sized beds along with twin beds, game room, large gathering room, large table in eating area plus another good sized table in kitchen and another table situated in a screened in room, and yes, plenty of chairs to go with the tables. Oh, yes, there was also a couple of good sized tables on the deck. House is very well planned with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms coming off a long hallway. When we arrived, we found cockroaches in the house and fridge. The property is overpriced for its location and amenities. Other houses are so close so not much privacy. Both houses were in immaculate shape and had everything you needed. Lucky Duck was quaint and quiet, with a nice hot tub the kids enjoyed. Haven's Hawk was large and fit all 10 kids and more adults. It sit's right on the lake and the views are amazing. We enjoyed a bonfire each night. The hosts were available and responded quickly with any questions we had. Definitely recommend this for a large family or group of friends! We were close enough to drive to South Haven and visit as well. ##### Christine M. The house was truly well stocked in every way - kitchen gear, serving dishes, tableware, lawn furniture, canoe, life jackets, table space, clean towels (bring your own beach towels though). The houses were spotless. The little beach and deck provided a great way to interact with the lake. The fire pit and lawn chairs were perfect for an evening gathing of smore making. Being close to South Haven was nice for being a tourist and then it was delightful to go back to the quiet of the lake and the house. We also rented Lucky Duck across the street. It was also clean - no lake view but a nice back patio with woods. The bedrooms are all pretty small / tight with furniture and the sun can make the living area quite hot in the late afternoon. Those are the only complaints our group had. Elizabeth and Jill were very helpful and quick to respond to any inquiry. We truly enjoyed our stay and several of us talked about renting there again. ##### Rachel S.
