Merimbula Boardwalk Tours and Activities

Pretty disappointing stay. We couldn’t get anyone on the room phone, including room service. Tried calling a few times throughout the day, even hours apart, and no one picked up. The room also smelt pretty old and the furniture was very dated and looked like it had seen better days. There were stains around the sink and bathroom as well, which made it seem like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or possibly hadn’t been used for a while. Overall, just expected a lot better for the price.

Everything was great except there is not enough parking but they’ll still register you and charge $35 a day. We were there 1 night and couldn’t park in the car park. Also witnessed someone hit a wall in there because it’s very low and tight and not built/designed for bigger cars. The a/ in the room is archaic. We put it on 20o and it started hearing the room to over 25o Biggest issue was the night roadworks right out the front of the hotel which no one informed us about so we were kept awake until 4 o’clock in the morning. When I said something to the lady at checkout she informed me that they weren’t informed that they were going to be night roadworks but somehow I find that extremely hard to believe that they didn’t know about it because they would’ve had night staff that could’ve said that that’s what was happening. Got absolutely no sleep in a boiling hot room.
