4 Room Apt. by Old Town Square in Historic Center, next to Garden

This is our 12th year short-term renting this apt. It is our most popular and favourite apt. You can rely on solid, professional and courteous treatment.

This 4 room apt. is located just 3 blocks from the heart of Prague’s historic center -- old town square. Private and quiet, it fronts on a garden and adjacent arcade and loggia. It is next to the small and silent, misty winding streets of the old town, as well as blocks away from the most popular nightspots and many of the city’s best restaurants.

The apartment is fully renovated and fully furnished. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the master bedroom has a super-king-sized bed which separates to 2 single beds, plus a living room (with sofa bed) and a kitchen. The living room and master bedroom look to the garden, where it is also possible to sit and relax or eat. The metro is a 5 min. walk. The area is very safe.

The house dates back to gothic times, and has historic details and a magnificent hand-carved late renaissance balustrade in the entry of the building. The city's most popular and visited places -- the Charle's bridge, old town square, the great Parizska street, and Wencelslaus square (shopping district) are all minutes away by foot.

The apt. comfortably sleeps up to 2 couples, and there are also numerous sofa beds for children or guests.

Host was very nice and accommodating - they let us check in a bit early when the apt is ready as well as leave our luggage in a storage on the day of our departure. The restaurant choices offered by the host are solid. We hit a few and enjoyed all. My family really enjoyed our stay - the apt decor is very unique and beautiful, the love seat is comfy, the kitchen is fully stocked and a washer/dryer to use. It’s a 5-min walk to the famous astronomical clock so really good location wise. We walked everywhere for sightseeing.

This apartment was in a lovely location, close to grocery stores, delis, restaurants, within walking distance of all of the beautiful Prague sites. It was very quiet and comfortable, I would highly recommend it.

Perfect stay

Amazing apartment in Old Town

This was the perfect place to stay when visiting Prague. Just like other reviews say, its a few blocks from the square but tucked away and very quiet. Beautiful and historic inzide, equipped well, check in and out was easy, and communication was great. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place!

Well, the ratings on this one were right on the money - a top-notch, charming home right in the middle of old town. Close to excellent restaurants (particularly The Food Lab) and walking distance to the astronomical clock and other points of interest. Great communication with the owners, who scheduled our pickup with a long-time business partner who could not have been any nicer. A fabulous experience in this charming setting.

The property has a great location, lots of character and was very quiet. The hosts were extremely helpful, even arranging our transportation to and from the property. Check-in is a little clunky, so read the instructions and study the photos carefully.

Great Apartment and Location! Convenient for Families!

Such a lovely apartment and excellent location! It was easy to take the kids site seeing around old Town or hop in a team to the castle. Very good restaurants and small markets nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were able to access everything we needed and had a wonderful time!

Charming Prague villa

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. We were blown away with the beauty of the place and the location it offered, right off the beaten path of the main hub near old town. It was ideal for venturing out for the days on foot to go explore Prague. The apartment had tons of charm, which made you feel as if you were still living in old times yet came with all the amenities that you would need to function and be presentable in modern times

This apartment is in an excellent location. It is surrounded by great places to eat and drink. The apartment itself is well thought out supplying everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The decor was lovely and Wi-Fi catered for all four of us which is something you do not get in a lot of places. I would recommend this apartment to my family and friends without doubt. The host gave clear instructions and organised transport to and from the airport making everything stress free. I would love to stay here again sometime.

This charming, eclectic, very quiet apartment was very comfortable for two couples. And the location is incredible, though you should know your parking options if traveling with a car. Also, shower/tub would be challenging for some elderly or disabled travelers.

Old World Charm in heart of Prague

A charming 17th century apartment with inside courtyard entry in the most centrally located neighborhood in Old Town, two blocks from Jewish Synagogue, across from the James Joyce Irish Pub where you can always find expats watching football. The neighborhood has good breakfast venues, restaurants (Georgian cuisine and Vietnamese in ally behind apt) , great deli and butcher (Masa) and close to grocery. Just outside the tourist area, about five minute walk from central square. Owner is very attentive and responsive.

Great apartment and great location.

We had a great time staying at Stare Mesto. We loved how old the apartment was, yet had all of the modern necessities. Robin was great. We had issues with the TV and he was right on it and was super easy to work with. Also, the location is perfect. Situated in a neighbourhood, yet close to the Old Town Square and all of the fun things to do. If I am ever in Prague again, I would stay there.
