Beartooth Retreat

  • The ultimate Wyoming rental nestled at the base of the Beartooth Mountains. This spacious home sleeps up to 18 with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms and with a well-equipped kitchen, meal preparation is effortless. Set on 9 acres, enjoy unparalleled privacy, EPIC mountain views, and endless wildlife and birdwatching. Conveniently located between Cody, WY and Red Lodge, MT -it's the perfect base for your Western adventure!

    The space:

    Inside you'll find everything you need to enjoy your Wyoming vacation. On the first floor: a stocked kitchen and huge refrigerator, lots of seats for dining, a comfy living room, a mud room with laundry and extra seating off the dining room. Also a spacious master bedroom and bathroom, 4 more bedrooms, and 2 more bathrooms. Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms plus a family/theater room with two sofas that either recline or make two full size beds, another bathroom with a washer and dryer, and a dedicated workspace with a desk overlooking amazing mountain views.

    The rooms are each named after the tallest peaks in the Beartooth Mountain range (See Picture Captions).

    Outside, enjoy the incredible views as far as the eyes can see. Nature enthusiasts will delight in the abundant wildlife and bird watching opportunities. From pronghorn and mule deer to majestic bald eagles, the natural beauty of Wyoming is yours to discover.

    Enjoy the newly built, large outdoor pavilion with comfy seating, a fire table, space to eat and play games, all while viewing the incredible scenery!

    Endless adventures nearby with side by side trails, the Morrison Jeep Trail, and the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone River to name a few. Or take a beautiful drive into one of two Yellowstone National Park entrances or the Beartooth Highway. Then as the day comes to a close, marvel at the breathtaking sunsets and stargaze beneath the vast, unpolluted skies. Your Wyoming adventure begins here at the Beartooth Retreat, where unforgettable memories are waiting to be made.

    Neighborhood highlights​​:

    A truly special location where you can experience the remote beauty of Wyoming but are not far from the cowboy town of Cody, Wyoming and the charming ski town of Red Lodge, Montana. Also venture out to explore the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and the iconic Beartooth Highway, hailed as the "most beautiful drive in America." Discover two different entrances to Yellowstone National Park, each just a scenic hour and a half drive away, offering access to the park's upper and lower loops. Alternatively, escape the crowds and immerse yourself in the pristine wilderness of the Beartooths, where endless outdoor adventures await, from hiking and horseback riding to fly fishing and wildlife viewing.

    Getting around:

    The Beartooth Retreat is remote, so you'll want a vehicle for all your exploring. Grab your groceries either in Powell or Cody. Nearby airports include Cody, WY (38 miles) and Billings, MT (83 miles).

    *Pets are welcome with a $75 fee per pet with a max of 2 pets. Please notify us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

    *Please do not move the furniture in the home or the pavilion. 

    *Parties and Events are not allowed.

    *Only guests included in the booking are allowed on the property unless given host approval.
