But the air was horrible. They had one bedroom downstairs and the other three upstairs. Everyone but my husband and I slept downstairs. We had to use a fan upstairs to have air. Horrible . They probably need to upgrade the AC unit to a five or six ton in order to cool the upstairs since that's where most of the bedrooms are. And we sat in the car for 30 minutes before we were able to get into the house. It took me calling our host for thirty minutes before I finally got a call back. We felt like a pizza pan and a few plastic dinnerware items would be helpful! We have a toddler and the glass dinnerware made us nervous! We did use the provided paper plates for her though! We also feel like a mirror in each bedroom would be beneficial! And maybe a tv in 1-2 of the bedrooms! The house was perfect-- very clean and everything we needed. The owner was easily reached when we had an issue with the refrigerator and all was fixed shortly after. The house is walking distance to the town, winery, museum. A short drive took us to a few historical places that explained the history of the town name and the area. Devils lake hiking an beach, the Dells water park and Deer petting zoo was within a half hour drive. We spent an evening in Baraboo and the young adults enjoyed the breweries.
