The secondary living area converts to a private bedroom with a sleeper sofa and barn doors. This well designed home offers privacy for everyone and the furnishings are of the finest design. In the private backyard oasis, enjoy hours lounging around the pool featuring a waterfall, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing under the covered pavilion, or grilling your “catch of the day”. Conveniently located in the backyard is a small garage converted outdoor bar/kitchen with a refrigerator, sink and ice maker, and a full bathroom. This tropical outdoor oasis provides hours of relaxation and fun! Night Minimum: 4-7 night minimum. When you are ready to hit the beach you will find miles and miles of natural beauty for you to explore. Grab a pole and go shore fishing, stroll on the beach looking for shells, splash in the refreshing salt water, relax and soak up some rays, there is something for everyone. Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. A few essential items are provided upon arrival: Dawn dishwashing soap, one sponge, two dishwasher pods, one garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, two individual/small bars of soap per bathroom, one laundry powder and one fabric softener. Some of our properties typically have beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.) on site. However, there is no guarantee as these items tend to come and go throughout the year. Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old. Security: Exterior surveillance cameras are in use. Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee. Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking. Boat Parking: Boat parking is allowed at this home. Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested. Pet Friendly: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately. Cancellation Policy: CANCELLATION POLICY: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made. Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments. Pool had rocks & broken seashells at the bottom, and appeared the pool was not filtering properly. You have to pay extra for pool heat (was not stated anywhere on listing or contract). My family and I stayed at Shellfish Cottage for Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The weather was cooler at night and some days but the pool stayed warm and we enjoyed it every day. The outdoor space here is so great! It’s the ideal spot for lounging and grilling and just hanging outside. Beach access is literally across the street and you can even watch the sunset from the front balcony. Port St. Joe is quieter than most of 30A and provided the best retreat. The house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay again. ##### Robbin L.
