With a fire pit, a butterfly garden, and lots of sand, this charming cabin is the perfect place for a large family holiday or a group trip to the beach. Our cabin sits right on the water with direct access to our private beach which you’ll share with the guests in the Garden Side Cabin. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sand for everyone! A charcoal grill awaits your brats or steaks or whatever was on sale at Walt’s Meat Market across the street. This can be a quiet romantic getaway for long walks on the beach, or an exciting family splash fest with fire roasted hot dogs and scorched marshmallows. With the picture-perfect lake views and ease of access to the sandy beach, the lake side cabin was a great place to relax. The cabin amenities are as listed, covering the basic needs for those spending time on vacation. The upper bedroom - with a full bed and set of twin bunk beds - is accessible by a narrow spiral metal staircase. Keep this in mind if members in your group have limited mobility. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. We liked that we could do laundry as needed on site. The mattresses are newer but box springs and bed frames seemed to be very squeaky. In addition to being right on the beach, the cabins are only a short drive away from the attractions in Caseville and Port Austin. If you have a wagon or cart, bring it with you as it will make moving your supplies/luggage/etc. to and from the parking area and the cabin.
