"This is my go to spot when I’m in St. Augustine. It’s always clean and always quiet. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The staff members are always so friendly and they have a lot of knowledge about everything to do in the area. As a person who frequently travels with a pet, this is one of the few hotels I’ve been in that doesn’t give downgraded rooms to pet owners. The pet-friendly rooms are just as nice as the no-pet rooms. Smart Stay Inn is a hidden gem that I’m so happy that I found!"

"The air conditioner worked great I cant say anything about the hot tub i didnt go into it "

"Nice room. It was able to sleep 5 adults, with 2 beds and a pull out couch. Huge bathroom but had a small walk in shower. Balcony was very narrow and is not able hold any chairs to sit, only standing room. Plenty of restaurants and the pier is near by to either fish or chill out. "

"I only stayed for a quick overnight, but the staff was very friendly and kind, and my room was clean and comfortable. Some stuff in the building is a little old, but the maintenance team is clearly working hard to keep everything running well. It's not clearly marked, but there is parking behind the building, so you're not stuck if you don't see any available spots out front!"

"The free breakfast was what you would expect. The property was clean and updated. The room had a nice kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was that the bridge closest to the hotel was closed for construction. Made it a bit harder to walk to the town center. Only a short Uber ride though. Would book this property again."
