However, the room itself was absolutely sweltering and could've done with a fan or a portable air conditioning unit. I had to open both the windows wide to let some cool air in.....which unfortunately let the screaming and shouting from outside in too. "When booking I didn't realise the hotel was right next to the ticket office to Wookey Hole Caves, what a bonus. Checking in was easy and the staff were very informative. After a busy day we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. You do have to reserve in advance but the staff went the extra mile and fitted us in, we were very thankful due to having an exhausted and hungry child. This place has a spiritual vibe which is very calming and relaxing, Staff were very friendly and food was great loved the vintage type radio in the room gave a lovely relaxed feel.
