The ambience is quite in keeping with the style of the building as is the decor and the artwork. Our room had a queen size bed and private bathroom and it opened on to a large veranda with nice comfortable cane furniture. The bed was however not the most comfortable one we have slept on with the mattress being quite hard. The shower was over a high bathtub which was awkward to negotiate. Thankfully there was a grab rail. For a property being marketed as a Luxury Hotel the bed linen and towels were not up to standard. Our vanity didn’t have hot running water, which made shaving uncomfortable.
