Beautiful resort. So close to the beach

We booked this hotel in advance to celebrate the ending of our honeymoon as part of our travel in Peru. The hotel was perfect for relaxing before our way home! It is decorated beautifuly, with 2 pools, spacious, clean room (with a seaview!). The staff was very kind and helpful! At the desk we were greeted everyday with Patricia's smile, who was so kind and helped us with everything we needed throughout the trip! Breakfast is nice and filling. There is a restuarant open all day to order food and drinks! The pools are cleaned daily and there are many sunbeds available! Plus we were lucky enough to enjoy two activities hosted by the hotel- beach bonfire with marshmellows and a movie by the pool with popcorn! Now for some notes that are important before booking- the hotel is wonderful with a private beach and all the facilities you would need to rest, but it is quite secluded from the main towns. To get to Mancora or Los organos, you would need to book a taxi, and they are not cheap like the rest of Peru. Because of that, your options for meals are limited- either eat at the hotel's restuarant (tasty but not very cheap) or book a taxi and drive between 15-30 mins to the other towns to eat. Another thing to note is that as great as all of Staff was, most of them do not speak English and sometimes due to that we had some misunderstandings. Other than that, we had a lovely time here, and we highly recommend staying here for a calm vacation! We would return if we could.

Our stay at Arennas was great but it was made so memorable by the staff. Everyone was so personable, welcoming and the service was great. A special shoutout to Willy, Diego, Gary and Alejandro for talking such great care of us! The room was very large and the pool and beach area was perfect for lounging. The 24/7 security made us feel at ease and they even helped us when we were being overcharged by a vendor on the beach.
