Very easy to get there by train and a return trip is only 5 euros. Cascais is very nice but the ocean water is cold. Only for the very hearty.

The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredible. Felix at the front desk was very helpful. Our room was perfect with a beautiful terrace over looking the river. The hotel was in close proximity to everything in Lisbon!

What a lovely birthday surprise from the hotel! I didn’t mention that I was celebrating my wife’s birthday when I made the booking, but when we returned after dinner on her birthday, they had prepared a bottle of wine and a cake for us! Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.
I booked a Deluxe Room, which was spacious and clean. The location is also great, with several excellent restaurants within walking distance.

The beach has a stone walkway that travels from Monte Estoril to Cascais. We walked the beach almost every day, Morning or Night. There are plenty of small restaurants and ice cream stands along the way, so you can stop for a cold beer or something to eat if you need a break. The ocean is cold but some locals can be seen swimming or doing other sports in the water or on the beach. We loved it.
