See the statue of Hungarian military leader János Hunyadi on horseback, created by sculptor Pál Pátzy to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Hunyadi’s death. Marvel at the porcelain Zsolnay Fountain, which was donated to the city by the Zsolnay Factory in 1892\. Notice the fountain’s four bull’s heads are glazed with eosin, which creates an iridescent sheen in the sunlight. Visit the numerous fascinating historical and religious buildings that surround the square. It’s impossible to miss the grand City Hall, which features a beautiful neo-Baroque exterior dating back to the early 20th century. The Mosque of Pasha Qasim is one of the most prominent buildings found in the square. Examine its striking façade, the majority of which was constructed by the Turkish in the 16th century.
