It wasn’t very clean. The bedroom smelled like someone had spilled a bottle of Amoxicillin somewhere, and it was never cleaned. The bathroom had toothpaste marks on the wall by the mirror, and the floor was dirty around the toilet. The fans in the bathrooms were so full of dust that they didn’t work and made an extremely loud noise. Because the fan didn’t work, after showers, the steam made the smoke alarms go off in the kitchen. The bathroom shade was broken in several places. One of the spindles on the stairwell was broken off. The decking was cracked and splintered in several places. The listing said there was a futon in the second bedroom. There was not. Overall, the place was clean, well stocked and in such a convenient location! We’re 5-10 from the pigeon forge strip, and 10 from the grocery store. The cabin was well stocked, it had plenty of kitchen towels, bathroom towels and even cleaning supplies! Our bedrooms were so cozy and well maintained. I truly can’t recommend this place enough. The house was clean and comfortable for everyone inside and out. We did see a bear . He went on his way and so did we.The location is also great. Your not far from Dollywood or any of the local attractions. We even went to see a movie. My adult children thoroughly enjoyed the cabin sitting outside talking and relaxing. Two Grandmas took two 8 year old granddaughters for an adventure. And, but, did we find it!The cabin was perfect for us 4\. The cabin was clean, easy to find and very code to the Parkway for all the adventures you can possibly think of doing. The cabin had everything we needed. All the kitchen stuff, towels and blankets. The porch was our evening wind-down time with a glass of wine. The girls loved playing pool while we were getting dinner ready.We would definitely recommend this cabin for your Tennessee vacation.
