Las Sendas is Phoenix's east valley premier master planned community resort in Mesa. The Las Sendas Golf Course is a world class golf course, and there are 7 courses within just a short drive. Also, 2 huge pools. The clubhouse pool is heated in the winter. Spas, lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, hiking and biking trails unending! Saguaro Lake is just 20 minutes away. Life here is all about being outdoors in the beautiful, untouched areas of the east valley. Sparkling city views and towering mountains surround Las Sendas, which is located in the premier area of the Desert Uplands. This area is specially designed to preserve the natural desert beauty, while enjoying all that nature has to offer. The 202 Red Mountain Freeway is less than a mile away, offering easy access to the other valley cities including Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler and Glendale. Sky Harbor is just 20 minutes away, as are most of the Valley attractions. Williams Gateway Airport is just 10 min. away. The new Cub stadium is just 10 minutes away, and other spring training teams are all within easy traveling distance. The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, a gas stove, and an eat in area with bay windows and a bistro table that seats 4\. There is also a sitting bar and a dining room that seats 6\. The kitchen opens up to the family room and offers a great view of the backyard through the large sliding glass doors. There is also a private laundry room and 3 car garage. There is a desk in the loft for quick computer set up and wifi throughout the house. The large backyard features a built in BBQ, large shade tree, turf, playset and sand play area. An extra high block fence and mature trees add to the quiet and privacy of the backyard. Located on a cul de sac and in a gated community, our home is the perfect location for a wonderful and secluded get away, while offering the convenience of a big city. Within a 10 minute walk are great restaurants, sports bars, shopping, salons, banks, etc. Las Sendas is very large which can add drive time and make walking to the commercial area more difficult., but not Las Sendas Jewel! This house is located in the first neighborhood, Silverhawk, giving it great access to the commercial areas as well as the freeway entrance. Easy 10 min. walk to breakfast, shopping, bars, dining, etc. There's plenty of free parking both at the residence and at area shops, restaurants and attractions.This is the uncrowded desert uplands of Mesa where you can see wildlife, enjoy a variety of trails without driving anywhere. We had a couple issues which turned out to be self inflicted user issues. Gail offered to send someone over to check it however with her help via text we realized what we were doing wrong. The home is nice and nicely equipped. The neighbors were really nice folks and the neighborhood is really cool. Parks nearby for the kids and dog, I rode my bike each day around the 5 mile loop. Everything you need in terms of stores and restaurants are very close. If you are going to be in the East valley give this property a strong consideration. ##### Duane S. Mar 25, 2015 #### Everything we hoped for and more This was the first time we traveled to AZ for the winter and we couldn't have found a better place to stay. We rented this home for a month and were thrilled with how well it worked out for us. Gail and Steve were extremely helpful before and during our stay -- offering advice, stocking the house with essentials (like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc.) and the welcoming small touches like fresh-baked cookies and lots of books to read. We felt very much at home. We also had family visitors throughout our stay and the space and layout of the house worked well -- very comfortable and spacious. The supply of bedding and towels was terrific. The back patio and grill were a natural gathering place and had plenty of seating. Whenever we had a question, Gail and Steve responded immediately and it was great that they live close by. In fact, the washer went out and they replaced it the very next day. They even planted grass for us snow-buried Chicagoans! Just so very thoughtful and kind. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, yet close to shopping and restaurants (Red, White and Brew was a local favorite). We did quite a bit of sightseeing and you do need a car since the area is so spread out. We enjoyed the Las Sendas pool, golf course and hiking trails ... and you must see the sunset from The Patio restaurant at the golf course! We would strongly recommend this home. Decorated with charm, its mulltiple bedrooms gave us options and flexiblity when other family members were able to join us for a couple of days during our week's stay. And the cozy living spaces on the first floor were ideal for being together without feeling cooped up.
