The pool and spa were a lot of fun. The host was very responsive. The house was clean for the basic areas (bathrooms, kitchen, floors, etc). Unfortunately the air vents in the ceiling were absolutely filthy. Also windowsills and blinds need to be wiped down. The house really needs some maintenance. A few the tables were very wobbly, lightbulbs were missing, some remotes didn't have batteries. Also, when we first got there, the beds were made up, but there was no top sheet so we had to contact the host and he got us sheets delivered right away however we had to wash them and make the beds herself. Not something we wanted to do on vacation. This house could absolutely be a five star if it just had a little more cleaning and some maintenance. ##### Tracy T. I rented this house for my 49th bday weekend. The only reason I rated it a 3 is because I had a family emergency that happened about a week before the stay and I contacted the host to see if I could get a refund because I had to travel out of state to be with my grandma during her medical situation. The host would not approve the refund so I had to drive 9 hours back for the weekend and then turn around and drive 9 hours to California again 2 days later, on my actual birthday. We had a great time, but there was definitely no compassion or understanding for my situation. So instead of lose the money I paid for the place, I had to drive 18 total hours on my birthday weekend. ##### Jessica G. We were in Goodyear for a family wedding in June. The space was exactly as pictured. Pool area was one of our groups favorite spaces. Host was immediately responsive when we had a small issue. The entertainment amenities makes for lots of fun, both indoors and outdoors. Even though we are local, this vacation spot makes it feel like we got away from it all at a luxurious oasis. The property was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were great. The property owner was very communicative and accommodating. Our family enjoyed a lovely Fourth of July staycation at this beautiful, well-appointed home in Goodyear! From the beginning, communication with host David was on-point: he was very hospitable and provided all the information we needed :) The backyard space provided beautiful views as well as a sparkling pool. Indoor spaces were comfortable, with many entertainment options as advertised: our family really enjoyed playing pool, foosball, and shuffleboard! Additionally, the basement was the perfect space for cozy movie nights! The location is in a quiet, tucked-away neighborhood, but close to everything.
