Loved the atmosphere around the resort. Felt like going to an adult summer camp. Very low key, happy hour, live music at night, killer sunsets. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed. When paying $500+ per night don’t expect to have just pub meals for dinner. The people at the resort were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. The food in the restaurant in the evening was tasty but the complimentary breakfast was a bit lacking in quality though they did offer more fruit than other similar places. We stayed in several national park lodges in Tasmania and those lodgings were far superior to this one at much less cost. A staff manager from Discover came to collect us. They also dropped back to our plane the next day. Knew it was basic accommodation but it’s the only place to stay. Shared bathroom and a big kitchen area. Washing machines and clothes line.
