The reception staff were kind and very helpful. The room was spacious, very neat and clean. The location was close to shops which was good. Definitely recommend the Great Southern Hotel!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel parking is easily accessible, and the car bays are not a tight fit. The meals are tasty although I only had dinner there and not breakfast. If there was one thing that I think could be improved on is the beds are very firmed and slightly uncomfortable.

The property looks like it was well renovated recently. Facilities very good including, for example, scales for weighing your bags. It’s seems priced as a mid range hotel but feels more upmarket than that. Location great for the city lots of places to go.

The staff were very friendly and we checked into a basic clean spacious room. Onsite parking available at extra cost, location very convenient with many restaurants nearby. A little bit noisy sometimes by passing traffic in the corridor. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Had a budget room which was extremely adequate for my short stay. It was clean and comfortable . Bed decent sized and comfy , bathroom clean , modern and useable. Room had a/c and plenty of lighting options , TV and desk as well as a fridge and tea/ coffee facilities. The front foyer is excellent , the breakfasts were very well priced and adequate. The restaurant menu was extensive and the meals I saw people eating at the restaurant looked superb . The staff were very good in all departments and I enjoyed my stay at the hotel .

Clean upmarket hotel in close proximity to eateries. Comfy room with all the basic amenities we needed. Staff very helpful. Parking situation not made clear at time of booking. Very limited parking close to hotel and $20 fee per night to park in hotel basement. Tight vehicle entry and exit from the basement. Overall very good.

Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. We were upgraded to a superior queen with a window, from one with a skylight, which was fabulous. The staff are super! We enjoyed their humour, all very helpful, making our stay very relaxed.
