« We couldn't fault the stay at all. The location was beautiful,it was easy to find, peaceful and quiet. The house served as an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. Coming home to soak in the hot tub was an ideal way to end a busy day. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little gem on the outskirts of the Lake District. Communication with the owner is very friendly, the house itself is very clean and cozy, equipped with everything we could have wanted. Waking up to a splendid view over the fells and sheep meadows from the bedroom windows, followed by a nice breakfast in the garden, was one of our everyday highlights during our one week stay. »

« An ideal quiet location with access to Penrith and the Lakes. Well appointed modern property, private parking. Host could not have been more friendly and helpfull. We did have a couple of issues with the Verbo discription verse actual facilities- however host was quick to sort out and offered us alternative very close by. Thanks for that. All in all we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again next time we visit the lakes. »

« Lovely cottage very spacious, housed a family of six and dogs very well. There was nothing we needed for cooking and washing. Great washer and dryer. The bedrooms are very spacious and very cosy. Towels provided and beds all made when we arrived. Lovely little village and loads of walks around the place and plenty of places to drive to within a short distance. Only bugbear was the water heater and hot water, for the first day we had no hot water in the kitchen and en-suite, which rectified...

« Had a lovely stay here with the entire family after Christmas. An amazing property with ample space for both kids and adults to relax. Lovely addition of a swing set and slide on the grounds for the little ones to enjoy and stunning views of the rollling countryside.
