Ashenden's at Penneshaw is the ideal beach-front getaway for your next family holiday or time away with friends. Set on the eastern side of Penneshaw township, Kangaroo Island, on a rocky shore, it is a short walk to a family-friendly beach. Local attractions such as wineries, farmers markets and wildlife parks are close by for those wishing to explore, or the expansive deck offers the perfect location for eating, reading, entertaining and relaxing. The dolphins were regular visitors and we enjoyed watching them from the deck. My son swam peacefully with them on several occasions. The house has great facilities and the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge room is open and spacious, taking advantage of the amazing views of the ocean and mainland. The large deck was also a favourite place to enjoy the scenery and wildlife (many wallabies!).
