Patikointireiteille pääsi hyvin hotellilta käsin, ei ollut välttämätöntä kiertää luontokeskuksen kautta. Hotellin edustalla oli remonttityömaa, mutta siitä oli vain esteettistä haittaa. Muutakaan oleskelutilaa ei huoneessa ole kuin sänky, siksi saisi olla päiväpeitto ja lämmikeviltti sekä lukulamput molemmille. Huoneen pöytävalaisimet olivat yleisvalot. Olimme neljä yötä, mutta ymmärtääksemme huone ei kertakaan siivottu, se oli kyllä odottamatonta, olisimme odottaneet ainakin petausta. Kävimme myössyömässä Colorado ravintolassa, mutta ruoka ei ollut oikein hyvää, liian suolaisia ranskalaisia ja mielestämme ylihintainen laatuun nähden (pelkkä hampurilainen ja ranskalaiset).
