Katarina had the chamber lovely and cosy for our arrival and fire ready to go, all we had to do was strike a match. We had a lovely little continental breakfast waiting for us with fresh bread, salmon, soft cheese and more. Staying in the castle and having exclusive access to the history of it's walls is a one of a kind experience. The bed was very comfortable, the fridge was well stocked with a varied selection. The views from the window was outstanding looking down at the river Tweed. Overall, amazing experience and we certainly did not want to leave. It was magical watching the fire burn in the fireplace. The only small problem was when we took the shower while sitting in the bath.
