So we called the hotel & the Manager of the hotel personally drove into town to pick us up at around 10pm. That's great service. The pool was a welcome refreshment the next morning & very well kept. The surrounding gardens & water features foster a tranquil mood & I could have happily spent hours here just chilling out. My only complaint is the breakfast which arrived with one set of cutlery & a tiny portion even though it was supposedly for both of us. A quick phone call sorted that out but it was still a poor effort. Breakfast is an important meal & it looked like a prison ration. The bed was also quite hard, even by Thai standards. Anyway everything else was great . Excellent rooms, very spacious. It's far out compared to many other hotels & the chef gave us a lift back into town. If you're looking to relax in a quiet area then this place is a good choice. Beds need to be softer. Breakfast needs more sustenance.
