Rangeley Lake State Park Tours and Activities

The room and hotel generally were great. Two main issues. 1. There is no elevator and consequently carrying heavy bags for a 76 year old was extremely hard work. I wouldn’t be so surprised if an elderly guest had a heart attack. The hotel should make it clear when booking and try and allocate ground floor rooms to the elderly guests. 2.. The road at the front of the hotel is very busy and noisy with trucks. Ask for a room at the rear if you you enjoy peace and quiet.

The pictures for this unit show a bathtub in the bathroom. However, there's also a beautiful separate shower that wasn't pictured. This unit also has a dorm-sized refrigerator, a dorm-sized freezer, a single electric cooktop, and a microwave that I don't think were listed on the site. It's a beautiful unit in a great location. We used it as a hub for Acadia National Park. The drive from here wasn't bad at all. Would stay here again.

This place was only about a half hour or so from Acadia National Park which was perfect for us. It was a large space for our family of 5. It was clean and organized and had more than 1 bathroom which was necessary. The sitting area easily accommodated all of us as well as the kitchen. It wasn’t far from many places in Ellsworth either. We were able to spend time in Acadia National Park but still have a large enough area for the whole family to relax when we got back. I really appreciated the listing of local places to try or visit. FYI we loved Schoodic Point and Cadillac Mountain especially. Would definitely recommend this place especially with family.
