"We divided our trip to Guangzhou into two sections; we stayed here over the second leg as we plan our itinerary slower and wanted to enjoy our accommodation, which this place meets our expectations. Lots of restaurants around. The garden area is amazing. The quality of the food in the cafe and 2nd floor restaurants were average. The coffee was perfect though."

"One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The property is conveniently situated and well maintained. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly. There is a convenient store steps away from hotel lobby. Cons would be the pool availability which is very limited due to the overwhelming amount of kids swim lessons, (for non hotel guests), there are. Another disappointment was I booked the two bedroom suite because of the washer/dryer it came with but the dryer is not operating as it should and clothes don’t come out dry."

"I stayed at this hotel during the Canton Fair. They haven't bus service that takes you from the hotel to the fair. It is about a 45 minute drive so it's not close to the fair area. As far as the location off this hotel it is about 20 minute walk from Beijing Street which is a very nice walking area near the Buddha temple. This hotel has some nice traditional monuments around that one can walk to. The hotel is spread out so rooms can be in different buildings. My room was in a different building so I had to walk to the main building for breakfast but the walk was really nice through this beautiful garden that was wonderfully landscaped with old growth Banyan trees. There are no coffee shops nearby but at 10 to 15 minute walk will get you to the city center where there are lots of restaurants and coffee places to choose from. I like this hotel partly because it was away from the rush. The stuff was very friendly and many of them spoke English. They offered a free breakfast in the morning which was very lavish. Overall I will give this hotel a 4.5 star."
