Good but could be better

The pictures on the online listing are outdated and needs to be updated especially the pictures of the views. The online pics looks like there is a slight view but now that houses have been built the only view of your neighbors houses. The kitchen pots and pans are a mess. We could not find anything that wasn’t completely scratched so we ended up buying a skillet and a pot to cook in. Living room furniture is older and needs a deep cleaning. I don’t think we sat on the couch once while we were there. We used the kitchen chairs instead.. We enjoyed the pool but I don’t think we will stay here again.

Bare Bones

You can't really have a bad time at Cape San Blas... but this house for the money gets a serious "meh", even an "ew". At best minimum bar on mostly everything, leaving much to be desired. Not even a holder for the toilet paper in the master bathroom. Grill was completely nasty. Kitchen ill equipped and dishes not clean. Yard not kept up. Horrific burrs everywhere... with a small dog and young kids that's an issue that can be addressed if cared about. Porch light didn't work to let my dog out at night. Communication was seriously lacking and certainly not "pristine". As owners of our own rental I would fire this mgmt company. Highlight was the beach. We will go somewhere else next time. And we'll tell our friends that as well.

Not worth the money...

Upon arrival to the property, yard was over grown/weeds coming through the pool fence. There was trash in grass, shrubs and around the car porch/outdoor shower/outdoor sink. The outside lights did not work, which we had to request maintenance to replace so our kids could swim in the extremely SMALL pool. There was no garbage bin available to us the entire time we were there, so we had to walk our trash up to the road daily and place it in other properties’ cans. All floors and living room furniture upon arrival were sandy. Dirty dishes were found in the dishwasher and cabinets. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom did not work. The biggest issue was the air. It consistently stayed on 78/79 degrees, and it was miserable when trying to sleep at night. We called and reported all issues, and the following day a very unprofessional and unhappy man showed up to address our complaints. The only thing he did was replace light bulbs outside, and got someone there to mow the grass. He told us the unit for the home was too small, and there wasn’t anything that could be done about it... DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Amazing location!

We love coming to the Cape every year! This house has a great location with a short walk to the beach. The Pool was very clean and a big hit with the kids. The house was also clean**, a good size and layout for our family of six. The beds were a little uncomfortable, as rentals usually are, and the TV’s in the bedrooms didn’t have cable (bring your own steaming device, I guess). **The only issue we had was with an inoperable washing machine discovered once we checked in (found it unplugged and full of dirty water). We Immediately called the property manager to inform them and they let us know they were aware and had called the company for a repairman. Since it was Sunday, they understandably had to leave a message. The repairman came Tuesday evening without notice (we almost missed him as we were departing for the beach). He quickly let us know that it needed a new motor and he couldn’t repair it. We didn’t hear back from the property manager, so called a few times to check on status, and always told they would get back to us. They never did and the washing machine was never repaired. The dirty water smelled pretty bad, so we couldn’t use the ground floor TV room. We also had to resort to hand washing clothes in the bathtub... a family of 6 frequently hitting the beach/pool generates a good bit of laundry. The lack of communication from the property manager was very disappointing. Otherwise, we had a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break. Definitely liked the house but may choose a different property manager for our next trip.

This home is just as shown in the pictures, comfortable and well equipped. We would stay here again. One improvement would be to clear away the burr bushes growing in the yard but otherwise, it is a nice property.

Perfect beach house

We had a wonderful stay! The home is lovely and had everything we needed. Beautiful gulf view from upper deck! Access to the beach was quick and easy, just a very short walk with no difficult dunes to traverse. The pool is in an excellent location and afforded more privacy than other pools in the area. The management was quick to respond to very minor issues (smoke detector battery needed replacing, cable needed rebooting). I used their online reporting form in the property management app and it worked like a charm. Again, management responded right away to even these most minor of issues.

Comfortable House

Searenity is a beautiful home. The floor plan works well for families. The kitchen had everything we needed! The sleeper sofa was not comfortable to sit on, but the sectional sofa was great! The bedroom on the main floor was a good size for two adults. The mattress was not comfortable and had a plastic wrap which made me sweat on it. The master bedroom with balcony had beautiful furniture and a comfortable bed. The bedroom with bunks was small. The bunk beds are designed for small children. Our teenage boys had to sleep on the top bunk so they wouldn't hit their heads. These mattresses were also wrapped in the plastic. The pool was a great size and the pool furniture was comfortable! The gas grill, outdoor shower and fish cleaning station were awesome!! The boardwalks to the beach left much to be desired. One had lots of steps and a steep drop to the beach. The other boardwalk had a ladder to get onto the boardwalk which made it hard to get the cart of chairs onto. It was also quite narrow. Overall the house suited our family needs but needs some creature comfort updates!
