"We booked last minute and the house was better than expected. It is actually two connected homes which was perfect for us as we were two families. The outdoor seating area is very beautiful. The home has been very carefully restored with a lot of lovely details. We were worried the pool would be small but it's well designed and we all really enjoyed it. One room was on the main floor which accommodated my elderly father with a bathroom directly beside The rest of the house was well layed giving plenty of personal space for the entire group. "Good position on the edge of the town so it is quiet yet convenient. Room well appointed. Pool area is nice and tranquil. Breakfast was very poor with little choice unless you like cakes. We had to go out of our way to get coffee. Virtually no hot breakfast, no tomatoes or salad and almost no fresh produce. The rooftop terrace no longer exists. It is now a solar panel array. Bikes are more expensive than elsewhere and we were quoted 14 euros from 3pm for the rest of the day. Shuttle is expensive and so doesn’t seem to get used. 4 euros each to the port but should be free."

"What a GEM. Don't let the 'Jaba the Hut' entry door scare you, press the button on the center door and be prepared to arrive into a jewel. Frederica at reception quickly made us welcomed, and provided an easy check in and personal guide to the room. The area in front of the room is fantastic, overlooking the pool. The room interior spectacular, and you can even see the sunset from the area in front of the breakfast area. The breakfast was the best we experienced while in Sicily for variety. Grazie Villa Carlo, Isabella e Luigi"
