The temperature had been turned up, very welcome after coming in from outdoor temperatures of -12°C. After dinner we put a match to the paper stuffed under the wood left in the fireplace and that was all that was needed to have a nice crackling fire as we enjoyed the evening. After a great night's sleep, breakfast was excellent, including juice, tea, coffee, a lovely selection of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and culminating with an omelet and peameal bacon. Our room was clean and comfortable.The hostess was very friendly and courteous. We were given a map of the grounds and of the general area. The location is very quiet, out of the way in the Pretty River Valley, just a short drive to Collingwood and all the attractions there. I would record a stay when the fall colours are at their peak. They served a variety of choices for breakfast, buffet style. There's definitely no excuse for going away hungry. It is my first time in a B.B. I was a little afraid to try one but the staff and the owner Paul made us feel so comfortable. The breakfast are so delicious. The place was so beautiful too.
