Good location. Easy parking. Breakfast disappointing

Beautiful, well maintained hotel very convenient to Mayo Clinic offices.

Well, when we pulled in the parking lot, it’s just an absolutely beautiful place really nice. And when I walked inside, I thought a oh boy my husband and I have hit the jackpot. This is absolutely breathtaking. OK the room was nice. It was tiny, but very nice looking the problems I had were. There was no room to put anything. There was no desk. There was no chest of drawers. There was no table. There was one small computer chair. That was the only place to sit in the whole room other than the bed there was one very narrow, small bench pushed up against the wall to set a suitcase. I have a very small traveling suitcase that fits on the plane. OK not a giant one. And it barely held that it did have two sinks one in the hallway kind of by the front door and one in the bathroom, so that was very convenient the bathroom with the shower was absolutely beautiful. The shower was lovely and nice and spacious. It had glass doors and when you walked in, you had a motion sensor light, which was very nice. Other than that, I was very amazed there was nothing in it like a regular hotel room no place to put another suitcase The trash basket was about about as big as a loaf of bread. So there was no place to put anything we ordered out and got some food. We had to sit on the bed needed. The doors weighed 3000 pounds I couldn’t even open the door. The doors to the bathroom were the same way I got stuck in the bathroom couldn’t open the door and had to holler for my husband to open the door.

The stay was great. Everyone was helpful. As an adult the chlorine felt like a lot so we didn’t stay in the pool for long. My son enjoyed it but his skin isn’t as sensitive. Parking is tough if it’s a busy weekend. When I got back at 10, there were no spots. I think a lot of the problem is the sizes of the spaces compared to the suvs most people drive these days. I had to park along the roadway out of the hotel which I didn’t love. I didn’t feel like my car was in danger but the longer walk back to the hotel in the dark wasn’t awesome.

Hallways had a bad aroma. Stains on sheets. Walls in rooms were dirty. Fingerprints on everything. Hotel staff was nice but would walk right passed trash on floor. I would not stay here again cause of cleanliness issues.
