This beautiful and spacious two story home offers 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and sleeps 19! It has a West facing pool and spa/hot tub and is perfect for a family or multiple families travelling together. There is a bonus room - the Den on your left after you enter the house. The Den has a sofa that converts into a sleeper and a 32" flat screen TV. Perfect to use as an extra sleeping space or another room to watch TV. KITCHEN and DINING AREAS The large kitchen has granite counter tops and island with breakfast bar with 4 bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for preparing a quick snack to a full family dinner. The dining table seats 8 overlooks the pool area. LIVING ROOM The living room has two sofas and a large 50" wall mounted TV and DVD player. Behind the sofa are sliding doors leading to the pool area. UPSTAIRS LIVING ROOM The second living area has a sectional sofa, sitting chairs, foosball table, 50" Television, DVD and XBOX 360! CHILD FRIENDLY There are also children's plates, cups, and utensils. \* Children's Pool Safety Fence LAUNDRY There is a full size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board for your use. PARKING There is room for 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars on the driveway. Additional parking is availabe on the street in the designated parking areas outlined with white lines. POOL AREA Popular by everyone is the outdoor area. The pool area has an over sized deck with large pool, hot tub/spa and water fall features. Enjoy al fresco dining with a table that seats 6 complete with ceiling fan. There are 6 sun loungers too for soaking up the rays! A children's pool safety fence. \* The pool in this home can be heated on request and is an optional extra. It can be heated for a minimum of 5 consecutive days ($200 plus tax) and the cost for heat is $40 for each night plus tax. If during the course of your stay, you decide to purchase pool heat, then there is an additional charge to cover the cost of sending out a technician to activate the system which is $40\. Pool heat is recommended October-April. \* Pool heat is set to 88 F (if there is a hot tub 100-102 F) and runs from 7am - 11pm. \* Please request at least 1 week prior to arrival. \*Please note that from September 01, 2023, Solterra Resort has introduced a new access fee for guests who may wish to make use of the community facilities and pool area. The use of the facilities is optional and so the charge is only applicable for groups who wish to make use of the facilities at the resort center. The fee, paid on site to the resort center directly is a one-time $35 total for groups of 1-12 guests or $45 total where 13+ guests are staying. This is a one-time charge for the entire stay and is paid on site to the resort itself. The charge is applied by the resort, on-site to any guests staying at any home booked at Solterra resort however booked but only where a group wishes to use the resort area. The carpet was very dirty, walls were dirts, no big trash can just a box or porch that gets picked up. Within hours of getting there the kitchen table broke on us. It was a table with 2 leafs and no middle support and 150 pounds glass on it. We didn’t lean on it or anything just playing games as a family around the table. my son got glass in his feet, We called immediately, no one came tell the next day around 10\. We have small children and did not feel comfortable or safe. We left and they kept our money for the next 2 days and also took 1,000 from our account without talking to us about it and have threatened more. VRBO didn’t do much as it’s not managed through them. Shine has a F rating with the better business bureau. I think that tells you everything you need to know. Think twice before you rent from them. Worst experience with renting. This location and the customer service was fine, but the cleanliness of the house was not great. If they replaced the dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, change the carpet and painted the walls this house would be great. The pictures are definitely dated so in order to uphold full transparency I would recommend the agency updating the pictures of the house so people who are renting it from out of state know what they are coming into. ##### Kayla J. In order to use the pool and hot tub attached to the house it’s an additional fee. Club house additional fee. No working dishwasher, washer and dryer. We literally did 4 towels and swim wear and it too 3 times to dry that little load. Host is rude and unprofessional. They don’t answer messages. Had to buy our own cleaning supplies, toilet paper, trash bags. Trash was not picked up daily and had a possum in our trash who made a mess everywhere, yet we had to clean that up. Most parks are at an okay distance...I don't mind driving in here. There were few insects inside the house, which is typical of the tropical region. Though the property is in a desirable neighborhood with a good layout, several critical issues ruined our stay.Property Condition: The poorly maintained home had insects, dirty walls, stained carpets, and bathrooms with poor drainage causing water pooling, making overall cleanliness subpar.Amenities: We paid extra for pool heating during our December stay to celebrate birthdays, but it was never activated, significantly impacting our enjoyment.Host Communication: After reporting the pool issue, the host claimed to send a technician who never arrived. The community was nice and felt safe. When we arrived it was a little confusion at the gate with our names not being on the list, but the host responded quickly once I reached out. Our family of 15 had a good overall experience, though there were some issues. Pros: • The house was large and beautiful, offering ample space for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. • The resort's location was convenient for accessing local attractions and amenities. • Despite some problems, we had a great time and appreciated the communal areas for family activities. Cons: • Noticeable stains on the carpet affected the home's overall cleanliness. • The couches showed significant wear and tear, making them less comfortable and visually appealing. • We experienced water leaks from the ceiling during showers, which was quite inconvenient. • The foosball table lacked a ball, which was disappointing. • The pool had leaves, small bugs, and some green algae, making swimming less enjoyable. • A hole in the pool screen allowed lizards to enter. While entertaining for the kids, it was unpleasant for the adults. • The garbage disposal didn’t work, and the maintenance staff, who spoke little English, couldn't fix it. • The laundry room sign indicated 15 pool towels, but we only found 13\. We bought extra towels to avoid the $25 per towel fee. • The clubhouse was closed more often than open, especially during rainy weather. Despite these cons, we had a memorable vacation. I did pay for pool heat that we never got. I even messaged when I booked if I could pay for an extra day so they could turn on the pool heat before we arrived since it was January and my birthday as well as my man's birthday. The lack of pool heat honestly kind of ruined it for me. They did end up refunding the money to me but still, I honestly tried to get it on before we ever came. There were no guests before us so me paying for them to come out the day before should have not been an issue at all. Pool/spa heat was awesome! The location was good for access to Disney, depending on traffic about 30 minutes to the parks.
