What a fantastic stay! Tess and Jay were extremely welcoming and accommodating from the moment of booking - even calling to check if we wanted dinner. They were flexible with our early check-in and changing our dinner reservation too. The room was beautifully presented with everything we could need for our stay, including fresh milk for our morning drinks. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean. We also had dinner during our stay and the food was simply outstanding. Jay clearly cares about what he has the menu and wants to serve the very best! The staff were very professional, yet relaxed and made us feel very welcome. We will 100% be staying again when in the area and would recommend anyone visiting Dartmoor, or the surrounding area, for food, if not a stay! No internet or phone signal. I stayed here on a Tuesday and upon arrival it was stated that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesday even though this wasn't stated on Hotels.com.
