Summary:
Awesome location next to Ogallala Beach & less than 10 minute from downtown Ogallala. Our condos are situated on the south side of Lake Mac, straight north of Ogallala. Closest access from lake to I-80, but this area receives much less traffic than most other parts of the lake. With great lake views this hidden gem, has been newly renovated inside and out, new appliances, stone countertops & BBQ grill to name a few. Features unique spiral staircase as well as exterior stairs.

Dog friendly condo near the beach!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. Condo 3 sleeps several people, so with only 4 of us we were able to spread out and take up space, which was nice. The showers were hot and the beds were comfy - we all slept very well. Cleanliness should be considered a bit more, as I had to touch up the kitchen & bathroom upon our arrival. I plan to provide this feedback to Kurt and I'm confident he will address this with urgency. He was always very prompt to reply to my texts and he sent messages on Vrbo to check-in throughout our stay. My favorite part about this unit is that the condo was fully stocked with extra supplies: trash bags, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry supplies and bathroom/kitchen cleaners were plentiful. Views of the lake and proximity to the beach is the main selling point of this location. Access to Ogallala Beach is a 15-20 minute walk down Ogallala Beach Rd or just a few minute drive from the property. The great thing about this beach is that it's very quiet and secluded. Not a "private" beach, but definitely less traffic here vs. the north side of the lake in Lemoyne. There is a quiet little cove where we were able to hire a local kayak instructor to teach us kayaking lessons with our dogs. This was the main reason we were at Lake Mac, so I was super happy that this all worked out as planned.

Great spot very close to Lake Make and Ogalalla. Condo is very clean with a nice kitchen, 2 full baths. 1 mile from the State park and lake shoreline.

Comfortable and Convenient

This condo was convenient to the area of Lake Mac that we like to hang out. The deck was wonderful to watch the sunset over the lake. The AC worked well and the beds were very comfortable, which was much appreciated after a long day at the beach. The kitchen and bath have the just the basics and that was okay for our short visit. I would have wanted better quality knives and a few more accessories for a longer visit. I’m an avid cook so my expectations might be too high… Overall, it was plenty of space for us - 3 moms and their almost adult daughters. Owner cares about your experience and answers your questions promptly. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves greatly and hope to come back in the future.

Fabulous Ogallala and Lake Mac

We loved our stay in this updated, clean, light filled condo. We wish our entire family could have traveled with us, there was room for at least 8 comfortably. The proximity to Ogallala beach was fantastic, and the drive around to the more popular parts of lake Mac was easy. Photos on website are true to reality, and we loved being able to bring our happy chocolate lab. She might have had even more fun than we did. Sunsets on the deck overlooking the lake and open skies and spaces were magical. Thank you, Kurt! We hope to be back!

A fantastic getaway

I grew up on Lake Mac and wanted my kids and grandkids to experience it, and this was an amazing way to do it and have the ease, flexibility and comfort of a home!! The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed. The view was amazing and the host was friendly and accommodating. He checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, and responds quickly. We were so close to a private little bay and had it all to ourselves the entire week. It was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be going back.

Amazing views

The condo was clean and stocked well with all the necessities. Loved the views especially the sunsets. The beach was right down the street for day use and we loved not having to be by a ton of campers. There’s a gas station two miles away for a quick run or town is closer than Martin Bay Area. Enjoyed our stay!
