Golden Clouds villa is a luxurious 13-suite estate situated in a park-like 7-acre setting. It is a spectacular oceanfront villa located on Jamaica's fabled North Coast in the picturesque village of Oracabessa. Located a fifteen minute drive from Ocho Rios, the villa overlooks a private palm fringed, white sand beach and the Caribbean Sea. Surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, the property consists of a main villa (13 bedrooms total) 10 suites are oceanfront and 3 are garden view located in the same building. An additional garden villa with an additional 2 suites and its own kitchen and living area can be added to reservation at an additional cost by request. Each building has a large veranda and its own swimming pool. If garden villa is not rented it gets locked. We always ensure a priate stay for all our guests and we never book two different groups at the same time. With 13 bedrooms in the main house (each with a private bath) and 2 optional rooms in the garden villa, it was perfect for our large group. Most rooms had ocean views or private terraces—absolutely stunning and so peaceful to wake up to.We chose the all-inclusive package, which made everything seamless: three delicious meals daily, non-alcoholic drinks, our own group bus and driver, and all gratuities included. It allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment together.The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. David kept the vibes high and the group hydrated at the bar, Horace ensured every meal and moment ran smoothly, Wayne wowed us with flavorful, satisfying meals every day, and John got us around the island safely and with ease.On property, we made full use of the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, kayaks, water trampoline, volleyball court, and private beaches. Oksana and her team know what they are doing. Everything was handled from moment you get out of airport thru the entire amazing vacation. The estate is beautiful and massive. The staff are amazing, there was nothing that was missing. Drinks, food, service, cleanliness of the place and the rooms, including laundry etc etc etc made for one of the best vacation experiences I have ever had (and I have been to some great places and luxury resorts). We never had a need or want to leave the house, as the water was pristine, amazing reefs for snorkeling and swimming, was great for ages 2-90! We celebrated my father's 90th birthday and we just had an amazing week. We are already talking about when we can go back. From the moment you arrive to beautiful landscaping and warm greetings you know you are in paradise. The property is lovely and the views are breathtaking. The owners have spared no expense decorating and maintaining this gorgeous estate. If you are looking for a vacation where you just unpack and spend every day reading, swimming, or playing a fun game with friends, this is the perfect spot. We had 22 people with us and enjoyed just being together and enjoying laughs and games (pool, poker, tennis, board games, volleyball, etc.). What really made the entire trip perfect was the amazing staff! David made sure we had everything we needed and more. He was so kind and treated us like family. Blossom, the chef, prepared some of the most delicious meals we’ve ever eaten. The variety of food was incredible and we loved every single meal. Kenneth and Fabian were terrific and the housekeepers took great care of our rooms and clothing as if they were their own. We could not have asked for a more incredible vacation. We will definitely be returning to Golden Clouds the next time we visit Jamaica. From the moment you set foot onto the property, you will feel a sense of warmth, peace and serenity. We were a family of 22 celebrating our parent's 50th anniversary and we wanted to do it somewhere with a lot of character and style but not stuffy or pretentious. Golden Clouds more than met this requirement. It was simply heaven on earth - a perfect combination of old school charm and modern amenities. What I personally love the most is the stunning, tropical natural setting and the peaceful ocean view. The Jamaican warmth and kindness permeate throughout the villa, the food is exceptional and most of it is locally grown and raised. It was the first time that we travelled with children, parents, and grandparents anywhere - let alone to an exotic country. We decided on a villa, rather than a hotel because we had 6 children who needed places to play together and where we knew that they would be safe. Not that hotels aren't safe, but we had heard good things about villa rentals for families and we decided to take the chance. The list of amenities is too long to list in this review, but some of the more popular activities for our group were swimming, tennis, beach, volleyball, ping pong, games room, playground and shuffleboard. The staff immediately made us feel like Golden Clouds was our home, and we lived a pampered life for a week. The meals prepared by Ms. Blossom and served by Jackson were beyond words. We got to know most of the staff and they were always extremely professional, but very warm and charming as well. As an avid gardener, I was fascinated by the "Zen Garden"? and the thousands of plants and flowers on the property. The gardeners were a great source of information and they had all kinds of tips about growing everything from Orchids to Oranges. We will be going back to Golden Clouds next year for our niece's wedding, and are counting the days before we return to this tropical paradise. ##### Margo G. We just had our wedding at Golden Clouds, and it was the most perfect wedding I could have ever imagined. It is a magical place to get married, and the staff are the greatest. There were 20 of us staying at the villa for a week and it was the ideal combination of a vacation and wedding. The wedding service was quite formal and elegant, and it was in a beautiful tropical setting with gorgeous flowers and plants everywhere. The food throughout the week was fantastic and the staff couldn’t have been more courteous and professional. There were four children that were part of our group and they loved every minute of their time at Golden Clouds. The property is like a huge gated park with every type of exercise and recreation equipment that you can imagine. With a large beach, two swimming pools, tennis court, basketball, and gymnasium, there was never a dull moment. To have our wedding in such a beautiful place was a dream come true. We had a terrific wedding coordinator who looked after everything from the flowers to the music, and so we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings right up to the wedding. My bridesmaids and I had a nice relaxing massage the morning of the wedding while the guys went out for a game of golf. At sunset, we had the wedding on the beach and it was a truly magical experience. After a wonderful dinner, we danced all night to a local band that the wedding coordinator had booked for us. Having been a bridesmaid too many times, I was quite certain that I wanted a destination wedding. I always liked the idea of spending a week with 20 of our closest friends and family instead of spending the same amount of money for a single day for 200 mostly strangers. If you are considering a destination wedding, I highly recommend Golden Clouds.
