Walk just 2 short blocks to relax on the beach or lounge next to the oversized, heated private pool in the backyard. The outdoor oasis includes a Tiki bar, lounge seating, a smart TV, a beautiful outdoor shower, lawn games, and even a putting green that’s lit up for night-time golf! Sweet Tooth is thoughtfully designed with plenty of space for families and friends to spread out inside the home too. The reverse open floor plan gives you 2 living areas, an elevator, a smart TV in every room, 6.5 bathrooms and sleeps 12 in the 5 bedrooms (4 kings & 2 sets of bunks), each offering a private bath. The rec room can sleep 2 additional people on a pull-out sofa and has its own full bathroom. Step outside onto one of the 4 balconies to take in the fresh air and partial view of the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. We know your stay at Sweet Tooth will be a memorable one! The Location: Sweet Tooth is located on the East end of Ocean Isle Beach and we love all the amenities the island has to offer. Delicious local restaurant options, coffee shops, kayaking, fishing, putt-putt, an amazing playground and so much more. Plus, there are several golf courses just a short 5-minute drive from the island. The closest beach access is an easy 2-3 min walk to the end of Charlotte Street, which offers an expansive beach and is handicap accessible. But, one of our personal favorites is a hidden gem just down 4th street - enjoy tidal pools and a more quant walk on the beach at the E 4th St Beach Access. The Home: Take the elevator up to the top floor of this reverse-floor plan home and you’ll find a bright and spacious open-concept room. The kitchen, dining area, and living room spaces are enclosed by large windows on 3 sides of the house and doors to the back balcony that overlooks the pool and offers partial ocean views. The spacious white kitchen has a massive island with room for 5 to sit at the bar, 8 to sit at the table and 3 to sit at the couch table. There’s even a 6-person outdoor table on the balcony for those who enjoy dining alfresco. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances including a flex brew coffee maker (individual k-cup style or a pot of drip coffee), plenty of pots and pans of various sizes, baking pans & dishes, a toaster, a blender, a tea kettle, and an electric griddle. There are cards, games, and a smart TV in the living room for everyone to enjoy after a day at the beach. Our family-friendly home even has a pack-and-play crib & high chair to make packing for your little ones a bit easier! Also located on the top floor are a half bath and two bedrooms. The Octopus Room (front right) has a king-sized bed, smart TV, and a private en suite with a tub/shower combo. The Shark Room (front left) has a king-sized bed, smart TV, and a private en suite with a tub/shower combo. Moving down to the first floor, you’ll find 3 bedrooms, a secondary living room/game room, and a washer and dryer. This secondary family area offers a pull-out sofa, foosball table, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and access to the back patio with a pool view and partial ocean views. The Sea Turtle Room (back right) is an extremely spacious primary bedroom offering tons of natural light through the large windows. This room has a king-sized bed, views of the pool, and partial ocean views. It has direct access to the back patio, a smart TV, and a private en suite bath with a large double vanity and a generously-sized walk-in shower. The Whale Room (front right) on the first level has a king-sized bed, smart TV, a private en suite bath, and a beautiful walk-in shower. The Bunk Room is the 3rd bedroom on the first floor located on the front left side of the home, which offers the kiddos their own space with two sets of twin bunks, a smart TV, and their own private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Outdoors: Sweet Tooth’s backyard offers something for the whole family - a large private pool with loungers, a luxurious outdoor shower, a tiki bar and smart TV with a variety of seating options, a gas grill, and lawn games on the artificial turf. For the golfers in the group, swing around to the side of the house to practice putting on our 4-hole green. We have both covered and driveway parking available for up to 6 cars. Once you arrive at Sweet Tooth and enter the covered foyer using the keyless entry, you can walk up the stairs from the ground floor or take the elevator up in this reverse-floor plan home. PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING: You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old. NO house parties, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind NO Pets — if you bring an unauthorized pet you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking. We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Please read elevator instructions CAREFULLY before operating (found in the notebook in home). User error will result in a service charge. No children are allowed in the elevator unsupervised. Use at your own risk. Pool and/or Spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All children must be supervised in the water at all time by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced weekly. Please keep in mind that due to tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool. The pool is open year round. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees April 1 - Oct 31 depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pump runs and typically the pump does not run at night due to timers. \*For last-minute reservations, it may take up to 48 hours for the pool to reach set temperature.\* \*Please note, pools will NOT be heated November 1 - March 31, NO EXCEPTIONS\* \*\*PLEASE NOTE: If you booked PRIOR to March 17, 2024, your reservation does NOT include towels and linens. If you’d like to add them for an additional fee, please contact us. Otherwise, you can bring your own or rent through a third party. The bedroom layout and types of beds suited our large family very well. The kitchen is well supplied with pots and pans and dishes. It would be helpful to have a beach wagon with the house - we ended up buying one to make it easier to tote our stuff down, but that's a minor problem. we love this section of OIB. A plus having plenty of larger beds for couples and the bunk room was great for kids. Only thing I would suggest is some bigger pans for cooking, and the grill was extremely dirty so we could not use it. Also I'm not sure the pool heater was on. Proximity to the beach is great, but Unfortunately the rainy chilly weather did not allow us to enjoy the beach. Hopefully we can come back another time for beach fun. We did enjoy hanging out on the porch, by the pool, and playing cards at the kitchen table. Highly recommend !! ##### Cristi S. We rented this house on our favorite part of OIB, the East End during March and we’re so happy with the cleanliness of the house, proximity to the beach, and the heated pool for our kids! We were lucky to have air temps at almost 80 one of the days but the rest of the week was low to mid 60’s and the pool was a lovely 85\. This was just a short walk to the beach also and situated on a corner. Owner was prompt and responsive and also allowed for early check in. Thank you for sharing your home with us! ##### Melanie C.
