The Windjammer Condominiums located ocean front on 46th street offer that wonderful retro Ocean City feel providing the perfect setting for a memorable visit to Ocean City, Maryland. This 2nd floor walk-up one bedroom, one bath unit can sleep four with bed sizes including a double and a twin in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. A one-of-a-kind family vacation destination, each condo is individually owned and decorated offering the guest a unique feel and comfortable stay with direct beach access and ocean views. Enjoy the exclusive private sand patio for grilling, picnics and play, free WiFi, flat screen TVs. Our condos are stocked and ready for you with towels, linens, cookware and utensils. Don't pass up on the chance to stay at your home away from home at the beach! This unit permits up to two dogs, 50lb limit for one pet or 70 lb combined limit for two pets. There is an additional $35.00 per day pet fee. Although pets are allowed all season, absolutely no pets are permitted on the private sand patio courtyard. There is a designated pet area supplied with waste bags just a minute's walk away. An on-site laundry room is available for guests at no additional cost from 9am to 5pm. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25. Property rents any 3 nights all season.

Windjammer

A hop skip and a jump away from the beach. Perfect for me, my 3 yo will only stay for an hour at a time before she wants a break back in the A/c. Room was clean, beds could be nicer but I’m not complaining, it was a great condo.

Okay place, great location

The location is great, right on the beach & it wasn't too crowded. View is great from the balcony. Although, I wish it was a private balcony instead of a communal hallway - so there was no privacy, especially since it was right next to the stairs. Beds are very very old & uncomfortable. The sofa sleeper was awful, my back still hurts! Wouldn't stay here again, but overall it wasn't too bad for a quick trip.

The location was great and the access to the beach was great. The view was also pretty nice. There were some issues; parking was very tight someone scratched my car, we had flies in the condo when we first got there and it took all weekend to get them out, the sofa bed is all springs very uncomfortable, The double bed had the mattress flipped over so until after the first night of sleeping on springs we had to flip it over to the right side. Nice to have a cook in kitchen but the stove/oven is very out dated. Needs a face lift.

Peaceful visit

We have a great visit, overall. Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful sunsets. We had one mishap... the sliding door was the only entrance/ exit into and out of the property. We were only staying 2 days and I didn't want to spend my time working out problems.... Until, the day that the door wouldn't open, at all. We were trapped and trying to meet our friends for dinner. I was forced to slow down and handle a problem! The manager handled it efficiently but, the Property Owner only credited me $50 for the trouble. Overall, great stay. Great location.

Perfect location, beach front

We loved the location of Windjammer . Nice eating breakfast on the balcony watching the waves. Only one issue with the condo. There was a smell coming from the air conditioner in the bedroom. So bad, that we couldn’t use it.

Good location and good place

Right on the beach. The room is in a good spot- no direct neighbors on either side: stairwell on the right and utilities room on the left. Inside yard neat. Clean- saw all public spots being cleaned daily. Would come back.

Awesome for a small family getaway!

This is a great and affordable property located right on the beach. It was clean, and had everything we needed to make it work for our family. We took eggs, bread (fr. toast), and lunch meats to make our own breakfast and lunches, and walked to nearby restaurants for dinner and treats. The beach was not very crowded the first couple of days (more crowded on the weekend), and the condo had some chairs in the closet to take down and use for the day. The little sand pit area for kids and grilling was very nice and convenient as well. We were allowed to check in a few hours early, since the property manager called us as soon as it was ready. It worked out perfect, because we were about 15 minutes away after a 8 hour drive with 3 kids. I was thankful we could just go to our room and relax and unwind a bit instead of having to find a way to kill time till the actual check in time. We also had a small mishap with one of our kids who tripped and fell into a TV screen and damaged it on our last night there. He was trying to get to a window to see the storm outside and tripped over the pullout bed. I was so embarrassed about the damage and the check out lady was so gracious and kind about the situation. She also reminded me I had purchased damage protection, so it was covered. What a relief! We also took our dog along and they welcomed him with literal open arms and kisses :) . This condo doesn't have a pool, but that didn't seem to matter much, because it was RIGHT on the beach. We also had the pleasure of watching dolphins feed several mornings in a row. Very cool. We had no trouble with parking, because they reserve a parking space for each room reserved. We walked down to Dumsers Ice Cream the first day (very expensive) and to the Dough Roller for dinner for my birthday. (My son and I shared a birthday during the trip) The Dough Roller is quite expensive, but meals are large enough to split between people. We also ordered pizza from Four Seasons Pizza...very affordable and they delivered right to the door and enough food for a few days! I would suggest taking some extra trash bags and paper products if staying more than 4 days. I'm glad I did, having a family of 5 (4 of them boys) and a dog, it came in handy. Also bug spray for those pesky sand flies at night (we were not that smart). we also walked to Sunsations and bought an umbrella for the beach, which was very handy and it was only $12. Great Experience! Will come again!

perfect little getaway

When we go back to OCMD I really hope we can re-rent this property. It was right on the beach, everything was clean and up-kept, minimal noise from neighbors, and in a fantastic location relative to the rest of the strip. We all had a great weekend and this rental definitely gets our thumbs up.

Terrible situation. Air conditioning unit was full of mold and mildew

I reported mold and mildew in the air conditioning unit to the on site property manager on Saturday morning June 9th. I discovered this on Friday night when I went to turn the AC on. We did not use the AC as I didn't want my son or myself to be exposed to aerosolized exposure to mold and mildew in our lungs. The property manager told me that someone would come up and clean the unit that day. This never happened and when we were vacating the unit on Sunday June 10th at 9:30am someone from the housekeeping team popped in, looked at the unit and said "Oh that's really bad, the whole unit will have to be replaced." We only slept at the condo and showered there as it was unbearably hot and humid and we could not use the AC. I am trying to find out how to submit a formal complaint. All I wanted was a clean, air conditioned unit for our lacrosse weekend in OC and what I received was a health hazard. I would expect a response and refund. If I hear nothing, I will expect that nothing has been done and I will go ahead and report this to the health department as well as the Maryland Attorney General.
