The Coorie is well named. Just a short walk down hill to town centre and ferry port. Sofa a bit small/uncomfortable but didn't spoil the weekend as we were out exploring most of the time. A short, 5 minute walk will get you to the center of town. The house sits up on a hill so although close, it is a steep climb from town. This location does afford you a nice view of the bay. The apartment is small but well equipped and clean. It is located in a walkout basement in the owner’s house. There is a small outside table on the side of the house to enjoy the view of the bay. Our little dog was with us as well. Parking was on street opposite apartment and is quite tight but we got a space every night. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights and made the most of them with outings to Glencoe, Mull and Iona and also the train from Fort William to Mallaig which takes you over the Glenfinnan viaduct from the Harry Potter films. The Jacobite Express steam train is back up and running twice daily on this line and can be booked online.
