Hotel uses the "piss your customers off" method for room cleaning. I.E. wait until they complain before cleaning your room. They said "most people don't want their room cleaned ". An upstanding hotel will ask at checkin if you want your room cleaned.

Wonderful place to stay! Everything was clean, peaceful and quiet. The first hotel I've stayed at where I didn't hear doors opening and closing all night. Staff was very nice, pool and community areas were nice, and the coffee in the lobby was really good. Walking distance from almost anything you could want to do in Port Clinton. Will stay here again anytime I'm able to return.

Do not stay here! Staff complains about owner’s negligence and overcharging. The grounds are unsafe as the elevator is not up to code, carpet is laid and not secured down, rooms are dirty, sheets are stained, property is disgusting!

"Our first room lock was broke on our door, and the door did not even close. Then a house party/loud was on the 3rd floor until 4am. I reported the house at 2am, but the party continued until 4am. Our bed was not clean (hair and dirt), and there was no blow dryer."
