With delightful views of the river and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect retreat for couples, small families, or friends looking to relax and explore. The cottage offers a blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a stylish yet comfortable living area, and two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. Situated just a stone’s throw from the river, you’ll be within easy walking distance of three friendly pubs, excellent restaurants, charming cafes, and scenic river trips. The award-winning family attraction BeWILDerwood is nearby, offering magical treetop adventures for younger visitors. From grand historic houses and lush gardens to wildlife parks and traditional seaside amusements, Norfolk offers something for everyone—without the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist spots. The Space: Downstairs is a hallway leading to an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area and also to the bathroom. Upstairs are two double bedrooms each with a double bed. The front bedroom has views of the river and beautiful sunsets. There is a patio off of the back bedroom which is a lovely secluded suntrap with a dining table and chairs. The perfect place for a sun downer! Outside is a courtyard for off road parking for 1 car. The Neighborhood: Only 10 miles away, you’ll find unspoiled sandy beaches where you can spot the resident seal colony—an unforgettable experience. The historic cathedral city of Norwich, full of culture, boutique shopping, and medieval charm, is just 9 miles from your doorstep. Getting Around: The cottage sits in a beautifully tranquil yet well-connected part of Norfolk. Within Horning, you have everyday conveniences, scenic charm, and community spirit. Venture out and you’re minutes from rural hub towns, or just a short drive to the dynamic city of Norwich or the peaceful North Norfolk Coast. Other Things to Note: Early check-in and/or early check-out can be arranged for an additional fee of £25 (subject to availability). To give you peace of mind and maintain our standards, we offer two options to cover you against small unintentional damage at this property. We offer the option to add a Damage Waiver for just £25 per stay that covers up to £250 in accidental damages during your stay. Alternatively, you may choose to pay a refundable Safety Deposit of £250\. The hold on your payment method will be released within 7 working days after your check-out subject to no damages. It's very near a nice pub, but no noise could be heard from the pub. The cottage is very well equipped and the wifi works perfectly! The Smart TV was also very appreciated. The village is really charming, has everything you need and it's great fun watching the boats on the beautiful river Bure. The little village shop, a cafe, a Chinese take away, restaurants and three pubs are all within walking distance. So we booked Seymour Cottage. Its a lovely cosy little cottage with everything you could possibly want or need. It doesn't have a riverside view but is straight opposite the pub which is on the river. Fabulous stay and would recommend. ##### GAIL W. Jun 25, 2018 #### Well appointed in limited space We enjoyed a stay in perfect weather Good position near to waterfront and excellent eateries Cottage itself has limited views and is a bit dark but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable Horning is a well placed village for visiting the area Managing the rubbish and recycling was a problem - not sure about what we were meant to do Also internet access and tv reception spasmodic but we were on holiday so it wasn’t that important Enjoyed our stay ##### Christine H.
