This is a very old inn, so don't expect everything modern, but the comfort was there. Like waking up at grandmas. The room was cool and clean...which was amazing in the heatwave. Wooden windowsills were rotting, skirting boards were filthy and the thin frilly curtains did nothing to block out the light. The bathroom was a disgrace, totally filthy and the end came off the hot tap in the shower. Breakfast was adequate. Although we’d booked and paid for 3 nights, we left after one. Obviously, there is a need for several updates, although the room was very quiet, the bed comfortable and the breakfast very good.
