Very nice property with history

This stay was amazing. We just did a mini get away for our first time in Rhode Island and not only are we in love with the state but also the apartment was amazing we didn’t want to leave. Everything was cleaned and up to par the building was quiet and clean as well. Check in and out was effortless. We cannot wait to come back and book again! Thank you so much!

The hotel was ok. Beware the deluxe king rooms with “hot tubs” are not actual hot tubs they are just jacuzzi bathtubs. A little falsely advertised as some rooms specify jacuzzi vs hot tub but apparently it’s the same thing so was a little disappointed thinking I was getting an actual private hot tub only to find out it’s a bathtub. They also had chipped mildew caulking around them. On the first night the toilet in my room kept running after one use, the shower plug wouldn’t stay up unless I shoved a bar of soap underneath it to keep it from filling, and the shower ended up filling up regardless as I was showering. Called the front desk and got a bit of attitude from the staff over these issues and was told there’s no on site maintenance they could only come in the morning and they could try to see if there was another room for me, then hung up. I went down to the front desk because nobody let me know the outcome but I did get a new room right next to my old room. The maintenance for that room didn’t come until about 10:30 the next morning. The room next to it was also apparently under construction due to water damage or something as the door was wide open, concrete floor was exposed, drying fans were blasting in the room, and they had the bed frame and dresser with the microwave and mini fridge attached all lined up in the hallway for 2 days next to other guest rooms. The pool smelled like oil from the vent, the hall area near pool also smelled musty & breakfast wasn’t great.
