Robins Nest

  • You’ll treasure your time at this memorable place. A perfect place to relax in private, enjoy a swim in the pool or soak up some rays at the beach!

    Located in Badin Shores Resort. The resort offers an 18 hole miniature golf course, swimming pool, sandy beach, paved R/C car track, basketball & volleyball courts, horse shoes pit, 3 playgrounds, fishing pier, a stocked fishing pond, boat ramp, 2 mile board walk along the lake shore and a restaurant/bar & grill
    Located in Uwharrie National Forest
    The space
    Robins Nest is a one bedroom camper setup permanently on a private lot. It has a beautiful deck that is great to enjoy the evenings as well as a large elevated patio with gazebo that affords beautiful sunset views and is a great place to cook out on the flat grill and enjoy company.

    Please note the lot where the home is located has a steep hill and is not ADA accessible. There are steps leading down from the upper patio to the home.
    Guest access
    Located in Badin shores gated Resort community. Guests will have access to all amenities the park offers which includes the pool, beach, putt putt, R/C track, weight/workout room, boardwalk, playgrounds, grills/picnic tables, fishing pier, stocked fishing pond, basketball courts, volleyball, pickleball, horseshoes, restaurant/bar, boat ramp and hair salon.
    Other things to note
    All adult guests are required to have State issued picture ID to enter the gate.

    The home is located on a steep lot that requires some stair steps to access the home, it is not ADA accessible.

    We welcome couples and small families (maximum of 3 people) who want to enjoy the lake life. Robins Nest is our second home and we ask our guests to be respectful of the home and property. No parties are allowed and only those listed on the rental agreement are permitted on the property and in the house.

Nice quiet and comfortable. Shower pressure was GREAT!! that stood out to me, as most stays I've been to are mediocre or terribe- . We needed help with one thing, and host answered phone call and helped instantly- that was secure felling. Thank you and thinking on another trip there , and recommend to friends for small , affordable stay. The out side areas were quite nice set ups as well. Thank you!

Cozy spot at the lake

This camper is very clean and comfortable . Making it a great place to relax and hang out after hiking in the nearby Uwharrie forest. Looking forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful time exploring all Badin Shores has to offer. We weren’t at the camper much, but it was cozy and comfy when we were! Perfect for a weekend getaway; we’re already talking about coming back!

Great place

I enjoyed staying at this cozy little camper. It was a great place to come back to and relax after enjoying hiking at Marrow Mountain state park, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. Great place with a lot of extras having your comfort and convenience in mind. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!

What a special place that is. Baden Lake is perfectly rough around the edges, quaint and full of adventure. The accommodations were so comfortable and the host was a dream. I’ll be back again + again.

Memorial Day Wknd Trip

Although the weather had us down, our stay was so cozy and inviting... the property manager even went above and beyond and helped us add an extra night! It was very clean and matched all it advertised on vrbo! We cannot wait to go back with hopefully nothing but sunshine!
