We were visiting Hershey and Gettysburg, and chose to stay between them. Staying here cost us less than the hotels we were looking at, and gave our family of four (including two teens) room to spread out. At night when we got back to the house, my daughter and I would watch some tv in the living room, my son would hang in his room and play his guitar. My husband’s favorite feature of the house was the office off the kitchen. He was finishing the last week of his summer grad class and appreciated having the quiet work space to use in the mornings. He loved the desk/monitor set up. The mattresses are on the firmer side, if that’s something you’re considering. The location was perfect for our planned trip to Hershey park, and the property itself had a cozy charm that made us feel at home. The highlight was the spacious layout and comfortable amenities that accommodated our needs well. Our dog loved the outdoor space. However, there were a couple of minor issues that detracted from an otherwise wonderful stay. The front door lock was a bit finicky, which sometimes made it a challenge to enter the property smoothly. Additionally, while overall cleanliness was good, we noticed that the bathroom shower could have been a bit more thoroughly cleaned. Despite these small issues, we appreciated the effort put into making the rental welcoming and comfortable.
