The location was perfect, just 10 mins from downtown New Bern. I will say, there was an odd " swaying " of the home. That didn't detract from the enjoyable stay. This house was super clean and had a fantastic view of the Neuse. In the warmer months I can definitely see renting a boat for the stay and using the dock. A few things that I think would go a long way: a comfy couch in the living room to just look out at the river and watch TV. There wasn't a TV in the Master so there wasn't anywhere comfy to just chill and watch TV. The most bizarre comment is the house has a rock to it. We felt it the most in the main level master and bathroom. It was a little unnerving and what I would imagine maybe what it feels like being on a cruise ship. My daughter could feel this upstairs in the queen bedroom as well. Overall it's a great house with a few quirks. The town was small and quaint everyone was friendly. Also the welcome gift was a super sweet touch that was some of the best sourdough I've had! ##### Julie T.
