Great experience. We stayed for 1 night in Takaev hotel in Hammam suite. We had very good reception and brilliant breakfast spread in morning. the views from terrace were amazing, especially for balloon viewing. Also staff were very helpful to our needs. We give special thanks to Omar.

Eren the host runs a very nice and modern hotel that still retains the history and charm of the area, with some of the very best views of Cappadocia from your breakfast balcony every morning. A great pick for people who love to hike and get away from the busier town of Goreme.

Great stay. Nice location in Uchisar with a great view of the balloons over Goreme. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Erin. Room was large and had a great shower, nice breakfast. Not as many dining choices nearby as Goreme if that is important to you. Good location if you want to hike down into Love or Pigeon valleys.

We had an excellent stay at Takaev. The room was clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities we needed. Eren was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and would check up on us often to ensure we were having a good time. You also get an awesome view of the hot air balloons in the mornings. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

A beautiful and charming hotel. We stayed here as a family of four and we all absolutely adored this place. Delicious Turkish breakfast served every morning by the lovely Ogi, and it has the most amazing views especially at sunrise you can see all the hot air balloons - it’s a really magnificent sight. Location is great, and Eren is unbelievably helpful and welcoming, goes the extra mile to help with info and helping to organise trips and tours. We stayed in a two-bed suite with our kids, comfy, cosy and spacious. This is a really special place, we’ll definitely be back :)

This hotel experience was amazing, highly recommend it. Family trip of three adults and we got the Sultan Suite Room, loved the ambiance. All the people (Eren, Can and all people who worked there) were amazing, friendly, helpful and like other reviews said, did everything they could to make our trip pleasurable. They helped us with booking ATV ride and hot air balloon 💭 ride (highly recommending both). And their breakfast was the most delicious, generous (try their “menemen” Turkish scrambled eggs style. I would definitely go there again if I am back to Kapadokya!

Absolutely loved this hotel!!! It is such a vibe and so beautiful. Very very beautiful views. Still can’t get over how nice the room was and the decor and everything. Extremely kind staff and beyond accommodating. I’ve never been treated so well and taken care of at a hotel. I would definitely come stay here again. They helped us with things to do and set up rides for us for all our activities. Very trustworthy. The hotel manager contacted me via WhatsApp before my arrival and was so so nice and helpful the entire time and was so easy to communicate with. Literally nicest hotel staff. Less than a 10 minute drive to the cute city center with all the nice restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

Good recovery, but serious damp issue with the Family Cave Suite We booked the Family Cave Suite because of its generous size, with a large bed and two single beds in a separate bedroom. Unfortunately, the room had a strong damp/musty smell and significant moisture issues, which were not disclosed in the listing. At check-in, we were shown a small ventilation/dehumidifying machine which made a lot of noise, and told we could use a heater. As this was a cave-style room, we initially assumed this was normal. After settling in, however, the dampness was much more serious than expected. We had difficulty sleeping and developed a scratchy throat. We raised the issue and were told the damp problem was specific to our room. The hotel kindly moved us to another room with a fantastic view of the balloons in the morning. However, it had only one very large bed and one single bed. The sofa was prepared as an additional bed, but was too soft and uncomfortable. My wife and two daughters shared the large bed and I slept in the single bed. We appreciated the move, but the hotel declined our request for a partial refund. A word of caution: I would think carefully before booking the Family Cave Suite unless the damp issue has been properly addressed and disclosed. The replacement room was considerably better. Parking spot behind the hotel is also extremely tight.
